Great music for my kids to play!

I purchased this for my grandson. He loves it. He was very excited as he looked through the songs in the book. He's already practicing.

I really went for this book because it had all 6 Bach cello suites but I enjoy the whole book. Some of the pieces are too complicated for me because I'm new to playing the cello. But overall this has become my favorite practice book since I started playing.

Would not recommend this book at all! The print is extremely small and the way it's bond makes it very difficult to turn the pages. No music book should be bound this way!

This is a nice collection of songs but I have a few issues with it.The biggest issue with this book is The Bach Cello Suites are super duper small. No way to read it from the stand.Secondly, at least one of the songs was written in different key than the original. Not a huge issue for some but I didn’t appreciate the arrangement. I haven’t gone over every song yet so it may be more than one. This is more of a personal preference.Lastly, and this is just a joke really. But they included Pachelbel's Canon in D…really?? I had to laugh at that.

I bought this book because, in addition to other solo pieces, it had the six Bach cello suites in it. I’ve only played one piece so far—Suite #6. I’ve discovered a few errors in that one.. It is entitled Suite No. 6 in C Minor. (It should be “in D Major”.). In the tenor clef the sharp markings are put on the wrong lines. Therefore the markings throughout the suite for accidental sharps, flats & naturals are put into question as well.

I returned this item because there was no accompaniment.
