An ok pad
These pads are ok. I like that you can cut them to size but all the edges make it a pain to insert. The pads are also a little too thick. After washing I had to spend some time readjusting and positioning them. After comparing this pair to the yellow big work wear companies pair, these are a major pass. Spend the extra cash and get the carhartt ones.

Hey Mikey! I LIKE ‘ EM!
The media could not be loaded. These fit my CQR Tactical Pants perfectly! After a 2.5 mile SAR K9 training mission, they never once shifted or moved in my brand new pants! They are very pliable and PERFECT for my needs of kneeling on asphalt, gravel, grass, broken safety-glass and crawling! Dual Density Firm Foam construction; top and bottom thin layer in gray and middle layer in black. Measured 5/8” in thickness.Super Heavy Duty Thick? Nah.But excellent Medium Duty Day to Day use for sure.I was concerned about the large wide “wings” at the top. And I all most trimmed them off.As my other pads do not have these.Instead, I folded them over so they could slip easily into my knee-pad ready pants.Once inserted, I opened the wings back up and they filled the width of the pocket PERFECTLY! Keeping them tight and in place. Unlike my other pairs that tend to shift from side to side.Stellar Performance at a Stellar Price!

They work in 5.11 Stryke pants.
I got these for my 5.11 pants. They work fine. I had to trim a little bit off of the wings. So far they have stayed pretty flat so they are visibly noticeable from the outside. These are my first knee pads so I don't know if that's normal or not. They offered good protection while I was in the woods and brush and plenty of comfort when kneeling on the ground. I'm happy with them, but I might look for something that's a little bit thicker and curved so they conform better to my leg.

Works well as forearm/elbow pads
I use these in a tactical shirt as elbow pads. I cut the wings off of them and they fit perfect in the elbow/forearm pockets in my CQR shirt. They are pretty thin so they're perfect for elbow pads, but I wouldn't use them as knee pads - they won't offer much protection with full human weight on them.

Breaks apart easily
Foam breaks apart easily, especially at the joints. It will break apart if you bend it to fit into your pants

Current favorite so far with only one downside
These are my current favorite knee inserts for my pants. I have the 5.11 pant and a similar clone version. Both had a large pocket for the knee inserts to go into. The one main issue was that the other knee pads where always a little off or not in the right place when you kneeled. With the wings on this knee pad you can have them center to your personal preference by shipping off a little bit of the wings. It has kept them mostly centered for the one moth once been using them. The only couple of small issues is that it is honey combed and not solid. If you are spending extended period of time on the knees then the honey comb pattern decreases the surface area of the comfort and can cause some discomfort over a long period. The other small issue is that the foam that is used is fairly hard. I’m sure that gives good protections and increased life to the material, it’s just a little hard on the knees slightly if there is no real give on the foam. That also makes it a little difficult to tell how the pressure is spread out on your knee when you kneeling. So I find myself a doing a kore gentle first press and readjusting if needed before doing my full weight on the knees.

Very firm and effective
I like that you can cut them to size as needed and add to pants. Very firm but comfortable when kneeling down ever since I got them I can't wear pants without knee pads now lol I'm hooked so I will be ordering a few more to complete my weekly wardrobe
