If you're looking for a light weight, decent quality, generic beanie that fits well and is made of 100% cotton at a good price..you may or may not be disappointed. The beanie I received is 100% polyester. I own several beanies of different styles and materials each suitable for different conditions. I ordered this beanie because I was looking for one that is 100% cotton and one that checked off the list above. I won't be returning this beanie, but the product I received is not as described in this listing.

Very nice hat. It's not one of those -20 degree hats, but it's your standard every day one. If you are going to be out for hours on end on a cold day I would say a different hat may be in order, but don't take anything away from this one. I use this one as my normal day to day hat. I also use it to wear to work so it has to have at least a respectable/business type of cold hat (if there is such thing)I would say the size for me is perfect. It's larger (I like that) then the ones I've bought locally, so it works well. If you look at the bottom there is an elastic looking (easier to see in colors other then black)portion. Make sure you are aware of that, as I could see that turning some people away but for me no problem.For the price it's well worth it. I've had it for roughly 1 week.

There are two things I like about this hat: how light the material is and that it is made from cotton. I'm allergic to acrylic and have found that pretty much every hat has acrylic in it. To avoid this, I would always not wear a hat and use a hood instead. This worked fine when I drove everywhere, however after living in windy Boston without a car for 5 years, I decided it was finally time to get a cotton hat. In addition to the itchy rash I get from most hats, my head is always too hot. This hat solves both those problems and is comfortable to wear.

Bought for a friend. I had ordered this hat thinking it was cotton, but when I looked at the tag it said 100% polyester. I had bought this hat to put a patch on it, so at first I was furious. (Polyester will melt under heat, so it isn't the best material to put an iron on patch on. After a day or two to cool down, I said, screw it I'll try it anyways. Well, to say the least it worked with minimal melting of the polyester. I most likely won't buy again due to the false advertising, but my friend liked it and says it's warm.

This hat was not very comfortable, and was way too big for my head. The material was kind of itchy. I only purchased it for Halloween costumes however, and so it did serve its purpose.

For what it is, it is just fine. Our house is cold so I often wear a hat indoors. Cotton is comfortable.When I go outside I want something a bit more wind resistant.

I love this beanie. It fits very well and is super comfortable. It doesn't itch either. I washed it after wearing it almost everyday for a couple weeks and the dogs slobbering all over it. The beanie was accidentally put it in the dryer, and it still fits good. It is a tiny bit more snug after this, but nothing I'm worried about. I'm sure it will stretch out again. 5 stars. Get it! :)
