Perfect for my head shape
Giro helmets fit me perfectly and the Manifest it's great for safety, comfort, ventilation. Price is little steep, that's the reason for 4 stars, but their always some discounted colors through the season.

Impressive On All Counts
First, the MIPS engineering technology of this helmet is mind blowing and proven 5 star effective in UVT testing. So you have this great technology protecting your brain matter and as soon as you put it on you notice how great itfits. The magnetic chin clasp is cool and the straps are fully adjustable to get the fit right. I've seen easier to usestraps but not a big issue as once adjusted, they are stable. Love the padding insde the helmet to help contourto your specific head shape. Expensive, yes, but I don't think many will feel this helmet is not worth it.

Well vented, really comfy fit, decent coverage, great safety features
On the trail feels breezy. Even at slower speeds, you notice the air flowing in through the large port above the brow of the helmet and across the top of your head.Manifest padding manages to be thick enough to not just keep things comfortable, but also absorb enough sweat to prevent it dripping down into your eyes when you’re working hard.Might be a lot of cash but it’s one of the best vented trail helmets I’ve ever used

Quite nice if you don't mind paying the price
I've done road biking for years but just getting into mountain bikes. I've always worn Giro, which simply fits me. Except for the Montaro I recently tried that was painful inside. This Manifest is pricey but very comfy, light, and has some nice features. It feels really nice on your head like a padded glove where others, for my dome at least, whereas others I've tried have pressure points and just uncomfortable. I have no complaints with the fit and feel of this nor the quality. One con aside from the price would be the straps and buckle. Having compared this at the same time to some POC helmets, I much prefer their straps and how they are shaped wider around the ear and how the under chin strap is very minimal. The Manifest has a nice magnetic clasp but the straps and their layout is basic and very bulky under the chin. Both ends are double-straps and one side is doubled back over itself so thats 4 straps you can see on one end, whereas the POC is a single strap on both ends, so much cleaner.

Comfortable fit
I've got a fairly big head, 60cm. I tried on 4 helmets. All were in the Large/XL size. I went with the Giro.Giro Manifest Spherical - Great fit. Very comfortable. Good coverage & plenty ventilation. Spherical tech doesn't have the usual MIPS plastic inside liner which can get a bit sweaty. The helmet is in 2 pieces and the outer shell moves. Impressive tech. If a bit pricey.POC Tectal - comically large. even when tightened, it felt & looked huge on my head.Kask Rex - helmet fit good, but Kask straps don't work with my ears (had the same issue with the Protone). Straps were digging in under my earlobesFox Speedframe Pro - close second. Good fit. Plenty of vents. Cheapest of the 4. If it came down to saving some cash I'd have gone for this one.

Absolutely the best helmet I've owned
Helmet tech has come a long way, this is absolutely hands down the best helmet I've owned in 30 years of riding.Extremely comfortable for long rides, great ventilation and some of the top protection technology!

Great helmet
Comfortable, great air flow, light. If the straps are not adjusted correctly, they will sometimes get into your peripheral view which makes you think someone is coming up on you. As long as they are adjusted right, that doesn't happen. I think it is expensive for a helmet, but I ride all the time, so will get alot of use out of it.
