Good stuff
It really has worked great to waterproof seams in the bottom of my leather bag

Exactly what I expected. Very good product.
Easy to apply. A little goes along way. Loaded cattle after applying to boots. Hard rain day before. Upto ankles in water and muck. No worries. Totally dry.

Excellent leather product
I purchased Skidmore's Beeswax Waterproofing for a pair of new leather shoes. Since I live in the Pacific Northwest, I wanted to ensure that I could wear them in our rainy weather. I gave the product 4 stars because it is a little difficult to put on due to the consistency. I carefully rubbed it into the leather, making sure to cover all the surfaces, including that hard to reach area where the leather meets with the sole. It does make the leather a deeper color, which I prefer over the original. I let the beeswax set on the shoes for an hour or more and then buffed them with a soft dry cloth, which gave them a bit of a sheen, but not shiny or polished looking. After buffing, the leather still felt a bit damp, so I let them set overnight and by morning the leather was completely dry and the deeper richer color remained. I would recommend this product and I'm thinking of buying the Skidmore leather restoring product for some other shoes and handbags. Oh yes, the product came very quickly after ordering.

Works surprisingly well!
I ordered this to seal up my winter boots just as the rainy season kicked in. I recommend grabbing some rubber gloves so you can really work it into the leather and seams, and be sure to give a day or so to really set into the leather. There is a strong smell the first day or so, which isn't particularly bad, but it can be noticeable. Very happy with the product and highly recommend for leather boots.

Heat up for best use
I used this on my cowboy, steel toe, work boots. It did darken the color of my boots but I didn’t mind it. I used gloves and I just scooped it out of the container and rubbed it all over the area that I wanted. I used a hairdryer to heat it up and it melted the beeswax and then instantly dried it, which made it soak into the boot and dry instantly. I highly recommend doing this as it dries faster and I was able to do a second application right after. I’ve tried it out for two days in the rain and it seems to be working. Just the tiniest bit of snow or rain would make my boots soaking wet and would take over a day to dry, so this definitely helped. I would suggest replying every so often, but it was pretty quick and easy to do. Overall recommend!

warming the container and contents really helps in apply this
Two new pairs of goat motorcycle gloves, handmade, not the junk you buy at harbor supply or farm supply stores. One is a gauntlet glove, the other a roper.I used a leather conditioner first, two applications in 4 days. Wiped them down, put the beeswax container in the mic till it was soft like butter, then liberally applied the wax to them. A clean microfiber or old T shirt to buff the gloves and let them sit for another day.Gloves are waterproofed as well as the goat is ever going to be. I didn't apply the wax to the gauntlet gloves as I'd decided I won't let the goat skin gloves get over saturated with water while riding the motor and will instead thrown an over glove on.

Skidmore's Premium Beeswax
This stuff is the Cat's Ass! I put my "waterproof" boots (that I paid more than I will admit for) out in the direct sun and let them warm until they were almost hot. Then, wearing Rubber gloves for dish washing, I applied two coats liberally coating them each time. The difference is significant and I must mention that a. the leather was deep conditioned with two applications, and b. the waterproofing was restored. Skidmore's Premium Beeswax has almost no smell, and is real wax - not some unpronounceable chemical that will give the end user cancer, and can be applied with confidence. Lastly, one six ounce container will doubtlessly last me 5 years - which makes this a steal of a deal! I plan to use this to condition the leather of my cowboy boots (guess where they have been and what they have been through). Thanks Skidmore! This is good stuff!

broken lid :(
The product itself is great so this is very unfortunate. It arrived bubble wrapped in a box with a broken lid. Too bad because the jar won’t close.

This great for leather
Tried this on a whim, I needed to soften and feed a leather (bomber) jacket, rubbed some in to achieve a great result, the leather is now much more supple, so I may get in to a routine of feeding the leather ever 3 months.
