The HeadbuttTM adapter replaces the protruding grip on your modern American A R sporting rifle, allowing it to mate to a Mossberg 500TM compatible stock (Will not fit any other type of shotgun stock). In operation it feels very much like holding a wooden shotgun, except that you'll find your neck is less cramped. When configured properly it may help you keep your rifle legal in jurisdictions where such a protruding grip is restricted. Manufactured from a very strong engineered polymer material, it'll survive the most challenging missions. HeadbuttTM Shotgun Stock Adapter is engineered and tested to work with mil-spec forged A R lower receivers. While the product may work with billet lowers, these lowers often have wide variances in dimensioning that could impact the fit of this product. It may be necessary to modify the product to fit on any given billet lower. Modifications to the product void the warranty. Includes 1/4-28 screw and washer to mount to the grip tab on the rifle receiver. 5/16-18 nyloc nut and washer also included to mate to your shotgun stock. Depending on which Mossberg compatible stock you are using, you may need to purchase a slightly (0.25") longer 5/16-18 mounting bolt than the bolt that came with your stock.
