Guardzilla Outdoor HD WiFi Security Camera with Night Vision and Weatherproof Construction (2018 Version)

I have 11 of these cameras. 1 is inside the house, 3 are on the back porch and the rest are outside mounted on the house, fence and tree. All are plugged in except one that I have mounted in a tree so it runs off 4 double A batteries that I replace about once a month. The set up is easy, the picture\video is clear. The app is basic, nothing fancy but easy to use. These are a great camera for the price. I had connectivity issues in the beginning but I upgraded my WiFi router to the Netgear Orbi with 2 satellites and have had no problems since them. The only other outdoor camera I would recommend is Arlo Pro but they are more expensive.

Low score due to it does not do what it says in sales pitch after too late to send back. Worked as advertised for short periods. The in app addware was always a pain but workable for our needs. As soon as we needed storage and more the 15 seconds per capture we did buy an upgrade to 30 seconds and 30 day storage. Adds became more intolorant and there suddenly devoloped a big delay from when the camera used to start capture and when it does now. There is no sound so don't believe that for a minute. No alarms either. Pretty much an adds full sales pitch for upgrades that makes the starting features useless.

I don't understand the poor reviews. I purchased the camera several weeks ago and it works perfect. Last night it was 11 below zero( Wisconsin) and the pic quality was great. Works every time. Night pics and day pics are all very high quality. Buying my 4th camera tonight--- great security.

Simple to setup and video is excellent. Records sounds. But the outdoor version oddly doesn't support microphone / speaker to yell at someone for instance. But otherwise great product.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I have 3 cameras outside and they have all been working fine / as advertised. I bought two at the Navy exchange and one from Amazon.Heads up: There is an annual fee for cloud storage of your videos.

Half the time this thing doesn’t work at all. Guardzillas customer service doesn’t know what’s going on and when we call them to tell them it’s not working it suddenly works again for a week then stops. They keep telling us to upgrade to a paid service for it to work.

It's been problematic the entire 6 weeks we've had it & now has a red tint to the video that only goes away at night. It seems to go off all day for the slightest motion in a tree or bush but miss other motion that is clearly directly in front of the camera. I've had to climb a ladder numerous times to correct issues & now after less than two months of use the camera appears to have a permanent defect. The app sometimes will not allow videos to playback. Overall it's a good concept I think, but has too many bugs than need to be worked out.

Works well just need better powering capability
