These cookies are essentially a large piece of Turkish Delight (tangerine-flavored) sandwiched between two crispy biscuits. There are 12 sandwiches, half vanilla, half chocolate. The biscuits definitely tasted different from one another, though I would not say that the biscuits were strongly flavored. They had just enough, and they completed the sweet candy inside. The jelly candy inside is tangerine and definitely tastes different from this company’s satsuma Turkish Delight candy, with satsuma being related to tangerines.I enjoyed this, though I wouldn’t say that I was super excited to eat more even though I liked both the biscuit part and the Turkish Delight part. Turkish Delight, by the way, is a soft jelly candy. It’s softer than a gummy bear or gumdrop, but it’s stiffer than Jell-O. Over time, the jelly can stiffen and become more rubbery like a gummy bear. Even though I don’t love these, I do like them better than I expected to. I just didn’t think that Turkish Delight between two cookies would work for me. It kind of does. So, better than expected, but I’d rather have something like a Fig Newton (though maybe a different brand with better fruit).I suppose I would probably like these better with a different flavor of the candy. I don’t like oranges/mandarins, etc., so while I like this candy fine despite its flavor profile, I would probably like it better if there was a different flavor involved.

One of the awesome parts of Vine is getting to try different things. I've tried Turkish Delight before (from Vine, of course), but not Turkish Delight cookie sandwiches. Unfortunately, the cookies detract from the Turkish Delight. They're just kinda dry and don't taste like much. Not gross, just bland. And they definitely dilute the flavor of the Turkish Delight. I did try a bit of the latter on its own and it was quite good, but the sandwiches just aren't worth it. Also, no nutrition facts on the packaging.

Is this Turkish delight? I had always wondered what it tasted like...It is nothing to get too excited about unless you just crave the taste of gummy bears glued between two crackers. No one in my family likes this, not even my kids. The biscuit/cracker part of this is the good part, the gummy part inside is just not great. And the whole thing is too stuck together to salvage the biscuit part.I think it is safe to say that this is on the list of not so favorite foods such as fruit cake and circus peanuts.

Oh my goodness! These tangerine-flavored biscuits from BDRM Bodrum Lokum are absolutely delicious. They are highly addictive. (I love tangerines and shortbread cookies; this is like a combination of each one.) I received a 16.93-ounce cardboard box that was completely wrapped in clear cellophane for protection during shipping and handling (S&H), which can be very rough. There were twelve biscuits inside the box and each one was individually wrapped in clear cellophane for extra protection. This is great for hygiene purposes and for putting them into lunches, backpacks, purses, etc., for easily transporting them in case you want a scrumptious snack at work, church, school, etc.Also on the back of the box, there is an expiration date of 03.2023, which is a great date. These snacks will be gone long before then. They are absolutely delicious. They are not bland and they are not too sweet; they are just perfect. My parents also love them and they are very fickle. At the time of this review, these snacks are on sale for $14.89; the regular price is $19.65. I feel more comfortable paying around $14.00 to $17.00 for them. Also, I want to note that this snack is solely a product of Bodrum, Turkey.Overall, I would highly recommend these tangerine-flavored biscuits (Kistirma Lokumlu Biskiivi) from BDRM Bodrum Lokum to anyone who loves tangerines and shortbread cookies. I would probably remind them that the price may be slightly high and they may want to wait until they are on sale before purchasing them. Also, they would make a great gift for anyone who likes this type of snack.

Definitely not a American style cookie, the outer biscuits are rather bland which works well with the sweetness of the center. The box comes with 12 individually packaged cookies. I normally take pictures before I start eating an item but as you can see, my wife and I hit these pretty hard before I got around to taking pictures. There are two different cookies in the box, six of each. Six of the cookies have chocolatey biscuits and six have vanilla biscuits enclosing the gooey center. To my taste buds they're delicious. I was curious about the calorie count so I checked the box and was disappointed when there were no nutritional values listed. That must not be a requirement in Turkey, unfortunate. Based on the taste alone, these are a clear 5-star product. Only have three left but I'm looking foreword to getting at least one of 'em.

These are individually wrapped so they're great to take along for lunches or snacks. I've never had a snack like this so I was definitely intrigued. The flavor is decent and the texture is kind of chewy. If you're looking to try something new these are definitely a cool snack to try.
