Perfect at what it does
This is NOT a professional machine (Lobster, Gamma, etc). This is a barebones, functional, tennis machine that mimics same side of the court, hand toss feed, from a instructor. This machine needs to be placed 6-8 feet in front of you, same side. I put it in the middle of the court beside a ball hopper. Angle it to the fore hand or back hand. You hit ten balls, hit the power button off: reflect on what went well / not well on your 10 balls. It literally is more than I could have hoped for at the price point and is 100% able to fulfil my needs.I've played competitive as a junior (under 18). I used to play guys on the varsity team all the time during undergrad. I'm now a busy professional employee, even more busy dad, who has difficulty meeting at a scheduled time (not many people are willing to accept a 30 minutes show up window), who has not practiced enough (lacking consistency), but can still juice a ball with a full swing. This machine is short (2 feet tall...net is 3 (middle taped) or 3.5 (sidelines) feet high), light weight, doesn't kill the D batteries that fast (you can buy chargeable or better use a power bank). If I can play with somebody great, but if it is late, with the Friday lights on: I can get some swings in, re-live the nostalgia of my childhood, and get some valuable exercise.Again, this mimics and hand fed ball from an instructor. Very ironically, it even has some variation in the ball fed; sometimes a few inches short, sometimes an inch deep, sometimes the spin is great than the last one.Given this price point > I'd literally given it 11/10. Don't know how durable, it's been a month, but it meets all my needs and I am very happy to have it. Just need it to last 2 years ideally, and I'll behappy..I'd even live with 1 full year. Should be great for kids / 1st time players. If you have $2k to spend, yes, a pro machine will do you well (club going to let you plug it in?).....otherwise, this is a very affordable alternative with likewise reduced expectations.

Great for mini tennis
Have to set up on same side as player but this is great for drills or even mini tennis for the ball tossed. Has to be on one side of the net we can’t get it adjusted to shoot further. It does have limits but the price point and portability make this a winner. My daughter can easily carry this with her other gear. Even holds the balls. Very easy to set up of course battery powered depending on how much you use can take a lot of batteries.

Did not shoot.
It didn’t have the power to shoot a ball over the net. I have returned the machine

Not good for pickle ball
Although it works sometimes, product is not good for practice of pickle ball. Ball is ejected too high and in a very short distance. To think that this isbsupposedly for tennis balls also. Not recommended
