Pan Naming Jack the Ripper: New Crime Scene Evidence, A Stunning Forensic Breakthrough, The Killer Revealed

Excellent - Very Compelling and Plausible
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, which is a very good read. The author is very engaging and even if you have poured through the Jack the Ripper material before, ad nauseum, I think you will find some new and interesting insights. At the end of the day, after building upon the suspect who was originally identified by the senior police officials who were in the best position to know, Edwards has added DNA proof to their assertions.Yes, DNA interpretation is subject to some scientific variation, but I think he has nailed it. I spent 30 years as a homicide investigator, and ... with the caveat that I am basing my assessment solely upon his narrative ... I think he is right. I would like to acknowledge one thing in particular, which I think is brilliant, and that is the 'outside the box' thinking which suggests that the shawl was brought by the killer, and not the victim. This is clever and imaginative; kudos to you sir.I highly recommend this excellent book and am satisfied that Aaron Kosminski was Jack the Ripper.

Jack the Ripper at last.
There will always be doubters and cynics but I accept this research. The mystery is solved.

Good book.
Finished the book in three and a half hours. Nicely written, though I am not always agreeable with the author. However, the book appears used, some dog eared pages are straitened in order to give a new look and the dusty smell inside gave me an attack of asthma.
