Crowley Dansette vs Electrohome Signature
I bought this, the Electrohome Signature, and the Jensen JTA all for Christmas gifts so I have all three at the same time. I've not tried the Jensen yet, but have tried both the Crosley and Electrohome. Both came in a pretty banged up box during shipping prior to someone putting it in the Amazon box. A little worried about that, but both worked fine. I did a lot of reading and almost got scared off by the ratings. Don't be. These both worked great and I'm so pleased. If you want to see my thoughts on both read more below.-LOOKS: Both look great IMO. Pictures don't do them justice. The Electrohome was much more sturdy as it's solid wood and heavy, but I was very pleased with the Crosley. The material on the outer casing looked to be put together quite well. A plus for the Crosley is that it comes with legs if you don't have a shelf to put it on. I really think this is a toss up. Just depends on your personal taste. Really, both look GREAT!-SOUND: The Electrohome wins here. The sound is much deeper than the Crosley. However, the Crosley wasn't as bad as I was expecting based on some of the reviews. Both turned up in the room over are loud enough for me to wash dishes and jam to Thriller with no problem. The Crosley has that old 50's feel/sound to it while the Electrohome is more of that 70's feel/sound. If you're worried about the Crosley sound don't be. You'll be fine it's just the Electrohome is better.-HEAD ARM/NEEDLE: I had to put this as it's a pretty distinct difference. The Crosley has a better arm for sure. Heavier and set the needle on and no skipping at all. The Electrohome skipped a lot at first. Minor weight adjustment and it's fine now. However the Electrohome has the ability to auto set the needle and auto return at the end of the record. The Crosley is straight ol' school...all manual with needle placement.-EXTRAS: The Electrohome wins here as well. The Crosley is as basic as it gets. Put the record on and there you have it. The Electrohome has a CD player, Radio, Aux input, and ability to record from record to MP3. One major absence from the Crosley is the ability to have it lift and drop the needle.-OVERALL: I'm SOOOO pleased with both of these. My worries from the reviews didn't come up at all. I'm not new to records so it's not that I've just discovered these. Now, as for my 11year old, she's amazed at this thing called a record. I gave the Electrohome a 4 star rating for shipping and the needle arm and although this has fewer features I gave it a 5 star.

I can finally enjoy my vinyl collection!
Ok so I never write reviews, I just read them sometiems, but I just had to come back to write a review on this product. I am huge when it comes to music so I always need something that is going to be enjoyable to listen to. This exceeded apl my expectations of this product. It looks FANTASTIC, very vintage and retro, great look, it gets pretty loud and as a rocker is how I love my music, and the sound quality is rediculous! has very good bass end because if the size of the hollow body. I had previously owned the Crosley Briefcase turntable (my first turntable) and I was not always into the sound because it was all muffled treble and had no bass and didnt get loud at all, so I kind of started straying away from listening to vinyl but I kept collecting. Now? The sound quality and volume on this thing is so smooth and just fantastic. I'm getting a fresh look at my product, it just came in the mail and I just plugged it in and I was blown away by my test run. Now I get to listen to all my vinyl I've been collecting!

This record player is awesome
This is a magnificent record player for the price. It looks absolutely amazing and it is heavy and built very solid. It sounds very good considering the rather small size. The Bluetooth functions perfectly as well but the star of the show is the full size turntable and excellent tone arm with a magnetic cartridge and diamond stylus. If this furniture style appeals to you then don't hesitate to buy this. I have been using mine daily for several months and I truly love it. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Cheap Manufacturer
I was so excited to buy this product. It's beautiful and goes well with my living room decor. I was only able to use this maybe 3 times all of last year before it stopped working. I knew it had to be a manufacturer problem and not a wear and tear problem. When I called Crosley they told me they don't work on discontinued items and to purchase one of their power cords, as that may be the problem. They weren't willing to send me one because it was outside my warranty. My warranty was over in November (one year after purchasing it.) I called them at right about the same time for the first time to tell them about my problem. They told me to look into the band, that maybe it needs replacement, and then said to call a couple days later if that doesn't work. The band is in great condition (like I said, I only used it about 3 times.) But I waited a couple days before calling again. They told me to register my product so I can file a claim, and then wait a couple days so that could go through. So I did. The third time I called them back (by now it is two months after my warranty had expire), they tell me I'm well over my warranty and there's nothing they can do. Their costumer service was not helpful AT ALL. I will never be purchasing any Crosley products. They're pretty, but cheaply made.

Lovely item!
This is a wonderful item for any living area that needs a little vintage. It looks great and sounds fine. It is not a refined stereo system, so that's not where you should think you are going with this. But it fits the needs of a music lover with a smaller space to play their vinyl. It looks just like the picture.
