Simple to install and connect
Great product, very bright. Easy to install although it does not have a 13 amp plug fitted.

Simplicity to install
Well made. Looks good. Only gave lighting 4 stars because i went for the warm light and on reflection i think the coolwhite light would give a better light for outsideWould highly recommend

Its very easy to use but that is also its biggest drawback.
I used this 30w PIR to replace an old 200w halogen unit, I would say the intensity of the light emitted is very similar so a huge cost saving at 1/6th the operating costs. The setup is very straightforward with a button for 24hr or night operation modes, and 4 fixed timer options of 10sec, 30sec, 120sec and 600sec. But it is this simplicity that is restricting.There is no adjustment on PIR activation light levels, so if comes on too early (or late) in the evening there is no way to change this, similarly if 2mins or 10mins is ideal for you, great but you won't be able to set it for anything in between.FInally the type of fixing used on the PIR sensor means if you position the lamp unit facing downwards ( to prevent light straying onto neighbouring properties for example) the PIR will be facing downwards too, other units allow more adjustment so the PIR can tip up giving it greater range. In all a good and simple to install unit but only in the right setting. Cant comment on longevity but I have several other Linke lamps (not PIR) and none have failed in the last 12months.

Nice light but defective
The light is well made and comes with a good length of electric cable.I did like the fact that to set lighting duration etc there were buttons on the back of the PIR housing that illuminated next to the selected setting, this is much easier than the usual twist buttons that are pretty hard to read.Unfortunately the PIR was defective and wouldn’t operate until you actually touched the PIR sensor cover with your finger and even then this only worked occasionally.No problem with the return, so that’s a positive, albeit I’ve not received the refund yet.I can only give one star as the light / PIR was defective.
