Runs perfectly, smooth and quiet.
I waited about a month before I sent in a review. I wanted to be able to give a really fair and accurate review. I can say without a doubt, that the air conditioner has performed outstandingly. I read different questions people had about operating it and setting it up. I did find that I had to go over the operating procedures a little more carefully then had originally thought I would need to. But since then this conditioner has been performing very quietly, consistently, and cooling a 400 square foot room perfectly. If for some reason when you first operate it and find that the air isn't as cool as you think it should be, keep fooling around with the controls and it will come on like it's supposed to. Prior to buying this one I had purchased a refurbished LG portable air conditioner which is still running after 4 years. It is much more noisy and not as efficient as this one however still works. This is definitely an improved model.

Came in factory box in new condition
Works and looks great so far working like it should has premium features, self evaporating no drain hose, quiet mode that’s really quiet, auto mode and a comfort setting that sets the correct temperature and humidity for you. The only negative was trying to screw the exhaust hose to the bracket that attaches to back of Unit.after a 1/2 hour of Frustration I used needle nose pliers to hold the hose while I screwed the bracket on.All and all very satisfied.

Chill out
Got it setup (Easy stuff, though the cord and exhaust hose could stand to be longer) and turned on and this thing, when it says 'cool' it means 'here have some blizzards straight outta Antarctica' so on a day when your shirt's stuck to you like it got glued on, well, it does put a smile on my face.

Okay
I know these are refurbished but I didn’t except this. Maybe I just got a bad one of the bunch. It also came missing with the exhaust hose. If it works I will be happy but so far can’t use it.

I have two, and love them
I bought two of these last year from a different retailer. I run them 24/7 in the Summer. Keeps my whole house 60 degrees F even when it's 100-110F outside.
