King Of Ruin

Yes. This was everything.
Oh myyyy, I loved Queen of Madness but this, I LOVED. It had absolutely everything you could need or want ina book. My heart was in my throat, tears spilled down my cheeks and my thighs clenched a time or ten. Onyx and Ezekiel went *through it* and then some.Onyx has v quickly become one of my fave FMCs of all time. Her strength, her loyalty to her family and her cause and her finally accepting herself as a whole human rather than the shell she was strutting around as is beautiful. Again, the relationships between her and her found family is wonderful, I am looking forward to reading more of them.Ezekial Liam Kane. What. A. Man. I don't want to say too much but he is everything and the way he calls her little names in his native tongue is just *chefs kiss*.I devoured this duet and it was the absolute best use of my time.

What a duet 🔥🔥
This duet was SO good! We got more of Ezekiels background this one and I loved it. It was nice to tie together from the first. I hated him but loved him just as much this book, like I understood he was doing what he needed too but my heart hurt for Onyx because she was so bad and they tried to strip that away. Loved how it all came together. I’m SO in love with both Onyx and Ezekiel, it’s so nice to read a book with a woman in charge, both strong characters though! Loved the ending! Really like the family dynamic they had going on! Would love to read more on these two!!!

Thrilling conclusion!!
What a thrilling conclusion! My favourite part of this duet is definitely the characterisation of Onyx. She is feisty, fierce and independent. I love her relationship dynamic with her and Zek.The spice is also incredible, Onyx and Zek have so much chemistry.Overall, I highlighy recommend this if you want an action packed dark romance with a strong fmc.

Phenomenal duet.
Lee has done it again , OBVIOUSLY. 😆At this point , if I wasn’t obvious in my previous reviews for Lee’s books , I am absolutely in love with her writing.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5🌶🌶.5/5King of Ruin , the second book in ‘The Wicked Worderland duet’.The book picks up exactly from when the first one ended , we see the struggles that Onyx goes through. We get to see a lot of character development in both Z and Onyx , the ups and downs of their relationship.Even though book one ends with everything in pieces , book two picks up all of those pieces, and puts everything together, and I personally think that I was very happy with how things turned out. The storyline was phenomenal, the characters, all of them , I knew I loved them in the first book , the second book in this duet just solidified that for me.The connection between the two MC’s is so strong, you can literally feel it when you’re reading. That was one of the main thing that I loved in both books.Ezekiel Kane is THE perfect book husband material, and I will say that forever.Onyx Embros is a Queen in my eyes , forever.I love them both so much , and I cannot wait to see more of this world through the upcoming novellas.

Steamy epic dark romance
King of Ruin👑👑👑👑👑This book picks up where we left off from that brutal cliffhanger.Onyx has been captured, Zekes actions looking more and more like a betrayal and overall everything looks to be falling apart. It's not all as it seems.Onyx family is working to get her back, Zeke is working to keep her safe and maybe earn her trust and love in the process, either that or die trying. Our surprising Fiona has decided to join the game and pick a side.Like the first book we get a look into other characters, but this is gi ING us all the multiple POVs that we've been wanting. The time to act is now, who will live and who will die. These characters are perfectly written and this book will have you hooked from the get go. I don't love all the choices are characters make and sometimes I really want to shake them and tell them just how stupid and stubborn they are being.I love watching them come together (wink wink) to fight for the end goal. The spice is amazing, we're back to a true enemies to lovers where there's tension and hatred and soooo much lust. This duet is truly amazing and one of my favorite reads of 2022.I received this as an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
