Favorite book
This is my son's favorite book (6 years old). He wants to read it everynight and talks about his favorite cars, how "gus" is going to use the parts to build them.

Cute book! My kid loves it! Rhyming text, colorful illustrations! Whimsical and fun idea. Repetition of words and idea so kids begin to look for variations and changes in the drawings - for example, watch the placement of the birds on each page, how dirty Gus gets throughout the book, what objects he is using, etc. super fun!

cute book for every kid!
My daughter picked this one out. Her teacher read it to her PrK class. The illustrations are bright and fun. I love the parts of recycling and problem solving. Well done!

Well done
One of my favorite children’s books. Fun to read and well illustrated. Prompted me to buy other books by Timmers.

Clever recycling story!
I know it's a success when the grandkids (7,5,3.5) have me read it a handful of times when they are here. The youngest one loves the repetition; the older ones loved the whimsy. Great drawings.

Read It Again, Please!
This has become the two-year-old recipient's bedtime favorite. He usually requests a second reading. The story teaches recycling, problem-solving, and concern for others. Illustrations are lovely.

Fun reading for little ones.
My 4 year old grandson first read this in the library and loved it so much I had to buy it for him. It’s a firm favourite of his now.
