So far so good
Used it on my 5D Mark 3 and my R6 Mark II to trigger my flashes for my photo booth and it worked great. Haven't had a misfire yet.

Works great. Well constructed
I am a professional Wedding photographer and the Canon 6d that I use as a backup camera body doesn't have a PC sync port built into it (i know...shame on canon). I shoot off camera flash and I needed a PC sync port to plug my Cybersync CST trigger into as I like to have 1 speedlight on my camera's hotshoe and then have the CST trigger firing off the remote flashes via the PC sync port. I had my 2nd photographer shoot with this adapter for the past 3 weddings and it has held up really well. It has threads on the port so I can still use my screw lock cables and it locks down extremely well to the hot shoe. No risk of it falling off with a flash attached to the top of it. The plastic seems durable and of solid construction. Glad to see a great work around that didn't cost a lot of money. To those that are looking to use this as an adapter to run a PC sync cable to a flash, ....this isn't the adapter for that. I have yet to find one of those adapters on amazon, but I know that Flash Zebra has a few different ones that work well.

Great Gadget!
This is one of those accessories that is needed once in a blue moon, but indispensable none the less. The only thing I need this for is to get a dead accurate flash meter reading using a 50 ft. PC sync cord (12 or 25 ft. just too short,). My camera (Canon EOS Rebel T5i) is not equipped with a PC sync socket since the hot shoe has such advanced capability. My flash meter will operate without a direct connection, but occasions call for critical metering. At those times, this and the long PC sync cord are a must.I find the quality of this piece to be quite good.

A simple means to attach a PC sync cord to a DSLR which doesnt have a PC Sync socket
A well constructed and functional adapter. I can't get too excited about it which is why its 3 star, its ok and it works. It is sturdy enough to hold my Newer speed light however i only use it when i need to use a PC sync cable so I do not normally attach a flash to its hot shoe. Just to clarify this is not a means to fool your canon camera in to thinking a manual flash is a TTL flash. My Canon T5 i will not trigger a non TTL flash when in live view, manual flash only fires only while using the eye piece view finder. This adapter only passes the TTL signals through it to a TTL flash if it is attached.

Works Great if used properly, other reviews are based on misuse
Ok people, this adapter works great for what's its designed to do,this adapter is for ON THE CAMERA to give you a PC sync trigger signal output, is not to be used as a PC sync input adapter on a remote flash...The way I am using the adapter I have this Adapter directly on the hot shoe of My camera (Canon T3i), then I have an off camera E-TTL extension cord connected to the shoe on top of this adapter and it runs to my Canon Speedlight I use as the key light in a softbox. I then also have a PC Sync cord connected to this adapter which is plugged into my radio transmitter (aperature Trigmaster plus) which Sends out the signal to fire my 2 additional softbox strobes as fill lights. In this setup I get 2 fully manual, RF triggered fill lights plus my Key light thats connected with the E-TTL cord so it can function in full E-TTL mode.I could have put my RF Trigger directly in the camera shoe and used a 3rd RF receiver to trigger the key light but then I wouldn't have been able to retain ETTL function on the Key Light. I need this adapter to make my setup work and use the radio trigger + keep ETTL function.

Need to use with a lot of flashes.
Need to use with a lot of flashes. Two for my Canon flashes to not have a cable connection, this works great to fire the flash. I will be purchasing another Hot Shoe.
