I had first ordered the Navy color in a medium. However, my husband pointed it out to me that I could be mistaken as a Bears fan in Wisconsin. Additionally, it was a tad too big for me...so I returned it for a black small. Anyway...I love this coat! I’m 4’11”, 120lbs. Generally between 34/36 A/B depending on the bra. The coat ends just below my knees. I live in Wisconsin and I have tried this coat in 40, 30, 20, 6, 0, and -12 degree weather. It holds up just fine and keeps my torso warm (gets a bit too warm over 40 - but I finally acclimated to WI winters). I ordered a small and it’s fitted. I had previously tried the M but as I don’t wear chunky sweaters, it was too big. Mobility is on the edge of almost being too tight but I can lift my arms fine enough. I also wear light to medium sweaters under this jacket at size S. If you wear chunky/heavy sweaters than definitely size up. Large hood which you can tighten. Decently wind resistant. Haven’t tried it in rain. Which there were more than 2 pockets. Pleased with my purchase.*note: this is not an ‘adventuring’ coat. If you’re going outside in negative degree weather, there are coats that are made for that purpose (hiking in Antarctica?). Stay safe, stay warm!

I’ve owned this coat for about a month now, so I feel pretty comfortable giving a thorough and honest review at this point.Fit: 5/5. The cut of this coat is extremely flattering. I’m 5’7” with wide hips (pear shaped), so I often find coats to be too narrow in the hips. This coat, however, fits me beautifully. I can actually sit down with the coat fully zipped up without feeling suffocated. That said, if you’re typically in between sizes, I would go for the larger size, especially if you plan to wear thick sweaters/sweatshirts under this coat. I’m usually between M/L in coats—the size L in this coat is perfect (not huge but enough room to comfortably wear an oversized sweater underneath). For reference, I’m generally a size M/8 in tops, and a size L/10 in bottoms.Style: 5/5. Sleek and modern, with a nice mix of classic lines and interesting, fashion-forward details. This is a great alternative to the quintessential black maxi puffer coat worn by every suburban mom in the northeast. I’ve actually gotten tons of compliments on this coat from teens and college students.Functionality: 5/5. The functionality of a coat is hugely important to me, and this one nails it. The front zippered pockets are AWESOME. They’re huge and can hold a ton of stuff (I’m talking keys, small wallet, iphone 7plus, pepper spray, hand santizer, and hand lotion). I hate when coats have shallow, awkwardly placed pockets that are useless. The pockets on this coat are probably my favorite detail. The ribbed fabric inner zip-up collar is also a nice detail that keeps me warm without a scarf. Finally, the adjustable hood with pull strings is great—it covers my whole head and keeps out the rain and snow.Warmth: 4/5. This coat is definitely warm, but it’s not enough for extremely cold days where the temps dip into the teens or below (unless I wear very warm clothing underneath). It’s perfect for a typical winter day in the northeast (between 20-40 degrees farenheit).Quality/Durability: 3/5. A rip has formed near the bottom of the coat after wearing it for a month. It’s an easy fix, however, I’ve never had a coat rip before. Some feathers have made their way out from the lining, which is annoying but not the end of the world. Quality is questionable, though I’m not going to complain too much given the price point.Overall rating: 4.5 stars, I would definitely purchase this coat again.

Beautiful jacket and color, love the style and look, very nice and kind of on the lightweight side but not much. Also not much room for layering. Fits close in size , but leaves little room for layering up for frigid weather. So you may want to SIZE UP, depending on your body type and shape. I’m very curvy and full figured I wear an 1X but got an 2X for layers and still have little room with layers. I should also point out it’s not quite true to size. Otherwise this is a great buy! I still gave 4 stars instead of 5 because this is a really nicely well made coat/ jacket and worth the price $100. I took off 1 star due to fit/sizing. I highly recommend.

A very attractive coat and I'm glad I bought it. Nice and warm. I am 130 pounds and 5ft. 8" and got large fits nicely. I could have even bought x large but I don't like to wear extra sweater under coat as I find than too heavy. You won't regret buying, well worth the money.
