Got this to put on my pillar drill, magnet works well when fixed to bare metal and can be positioned exactly to illuminate the work, well built and has a good light to work accurately. Great product for the money and would definitely recommend

The magnet is powerful when set against steel of a decent thickness eg 3-10mm. On thin sheet steel it is easier to pull off. I'm using it on various machines eg a Grinding wheel where it sits on the main body firmly, a band saw where its just ok on the tin work but great on the steel table, and a wet grinder which has an alloy body, so screwed a piece of 10mm plate to the wall above it, which it grips very firmly. lamp is fairly bright not as powerful as I had hoped, it is a bright white light broadly equivalent to an old 60w bulb or a 10w LED. But works well as you can get it close to where you need it and adjust it just so. I'm in my mid 60's and find I need really good light & reading glasses these days. So a versatile lamp that can be moved to where I need it.

Product description says magnetic, but it is not! Clip is very strong and should be good but not what was described!

I bought this light to give me focused light on tools I use like drill presses, belt linishers, bandsaws, routers and just doing a fine job on the bench. The magnetic version is great to move around different tools. The magnetic on/off style is great. This one is stronger that others I bought a couple of years back, which are going strong. You will not easily knock this of where you post it. The light coverage is good for what I want it for. IT

Bright, using on a pillar drill so lots of metal to grab on to. Quite flexible and very bright so not bad. Not cheap but not unhappy with it.

To save anyone being similarly disappointed with this product after being delivered and it not matching the description on the website, note the following.The description very clearly states an Aluminium alloy lamp head, both in the initial product description and in the manufacturers “basic features” description, however the manufacturers product details also mention a Nylon lamp head, so which is it??It’s Nylon ( or most likely an inferior grade plastic not Nylon) it certainly isn’t made of any Aluminium (or other metal) alloy as stated twice.It’s not difficult to be accurate about what you are selling, so no excuse for the contradictory product descriptions!

Described as Magnetic. Not sure how, as I haven't found anything Magnetic on it. Lead is a little short considering what it is designed for but light strength and coverage is good. Quite expensive for what it is and I'm sure there are better value lamps that do the same thing.

Fits where I wanted and give out a very good light .
