Sea Striker Double Drop Pompano Rig with Circle Hooks

I bought about 10 of these in the last year for a couple trips to the coast to do some shore fishing. They are very sharp and hook fish well. The hooks seem very strong, I've yet to bend or break one on the 10-25 inch fish we typically catch. Unfortunately, about 1 out of every 3 or 4 of the rigs seem to have weak knots that come undone leaving you with 1 hook. Overall they do a reasonable job for a reasonable price and I will continue to purchase them.

I like the circle hooks used on these rigs better than the other brands for sale on hereEvery so often one of the rigs will need to be retired but I keep the hook and float and re-tie them with 30lb mono in a 3 or 4 hook setup (pompano sabiki). Catches a lot more fish when I re-tie into 4 because it can cover a 10 foot distance with 4 hooks.

Almost $7 for one pomp rig? I bought one because the pompano are running and the local bait shops are sold out, then the day it arrived the HEB (Tx supermarket chain) had them, Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp brand, for $1.57 each. Same rig, just as good, just a different brand.

Nice and ok for small fish, but after hooking nice size fish the hook leader broke and I lost the fish, rig and all.

Cheaper at Academy but this came straght to the house. Ii have three of these rigs in the box and they are ready to go. Get it!

I have used these to catch Whiting, pompano, and I even landed a 27 inch redfish on one. They work great for me.

Worked great. I caught some pompano off the beach in southwest FL using some fish bites and gulp sand crabs/fleas.

Took it surf fishing with live shrimp. Works great. Caught a little 8 in snapper. Unfortunately I lost it on some rocks. But I will be ordering more
