I love these sandals / flip-flops. I paid $64.99 for them and was desperate because I was going to Guam for a 3-week vacation and was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. When in Guam I wear flip-flops the whole time I am there and my other flip-flops would have caused so much pain that I was that it would have ruined my vacation. I used these flip-flops for the whole three weeks and I experienced no pain what so ever! They were very comfortable. My son and I even went on a two mile hike after it had rained and I did the hike in these flip-flops. My son also wore flip-flops and he was slipping and sliding all over the place. These flip-flops gripped so well that I was truly impressed. I used them to walk over lava rocks many times and looking at the soles you can’t even tell. I even used them in the ocean and made a point to throughly clean them after, hoping that the salt water didn’t ruin them. Well after three weeks of use, they look as good as when I bought them. Even though they were comfortable right out of the box, the soles molded to my feet over the three week and were even more comfortable which is just unbelievable. I will admit that if it wasn’t for being so desperate because of my circumstance I would never had paid $64.99 for a pair of flip-flops, but I now will never buy any other. I told my wife about my pleasure with the flip-flops and she stated I should had bought her a pair for our trip, but told me not to after she learned how much they cost. That is what I mean about the price and being desperate. I was not paid or offered anything to leave this review; I read reviews here on Amazon to help me make my purchase decisions and I am so happy with these I wanted to share my experience and satisfaction with these flip-flops.

I am a die hard OluKai fan and have owned several pairs in my life. These sandals while branded OluKai I am certain they are not. 100% counterfeit! Cheaply made and obviously so...something a fan such as myself immediately noticed. Don’t waste your money. I just left a flip flop shop and bought a brand new pair of authentic OluKai’s and the store owner looked at mine and immediately agreed with me that they don’t look real.

I have had these for approximately 1 year and they have been worn about twenty times. I only wear them at the pool and now they have fallen apart. I have owned Olukai sandals before and they have lasted years and those I wore most all the time.I would say if your'e looking for a sandal, don't waste your time buying these. If I could I would return them, but it has been too long and I am out $60+ .

I wanted to buy these sandals a while ago and I pulled the trigger because there were so many good reviews about them. I traveled to Mexico to the beach and why not give them a try?Well, after two usages (yes, you've read that right, TWO) the sole stated to tear it apart. I've used them in the beach and it seems that the sun and the heat started to de-glueing them. WTF?If Olukai brags about Hawaii and using your sandals in the beach, the first thing that you expect is them to stand the basic environmental conditions, right?Also I had another couple of issues with these ones:1. After the first wear in the beach, they were wet (obviously) so I left the sandals in the open air (without sun) to dry. Guess what? They built a smell in the strap that doesn't go away, even washing them with gentle soap.2. As a couple of 1-star (real) reviews pointed out, the strap has a really bad design that cuts the top of your feet. It also happened to me in BOTH feet (I won't upload pictures of my feet, but you get the point). It's even worse when it happens in the beach because of the sun, sand and the sore sensation.Bottom line: if you're throwing $75 for a pair of sandals for casual-indoor (not heavy) usage, sure, why not giving them a try?If you're going to use them at the beach or you wear sandals every time in every kind of environmental conditions, I can't recommend these.Extremely overpriced and overhyped.

All right, these are comfy, and fit ok. But only because I ordered 2 sizes larger!I had a pair of these that was very comfy and lasted forever. And now I remember they were size 11, because I like them really large/loose. The size 10 is just barely ok for me.The biggest issue with the others, like Flexi/NB/Vionic is that the heel rides almost over the rim, and that is VERY uncomfortable.Photo description, starting with the size. All are M, standards (non-wide).8 - ASICs running shoes.8.5 - Flexi (got them from Mexico). They are a bit small, not too bad, comfort-wise, hardly any arch support.9D - New Balance Men's Pinnacle Flip Flop, Whisky. Too small, tight. Arch support is ok, not as 'tough' as the Vionic.8 - Vionic Men's, Tide flip Flop Sandals Brown. Too tight. Arch support is tough. Great flip-flops. Comfy and good for all day wear including multi mile clifftop/beach walks, including getting wet.Definitely worth the money so far, will know for sure after a couple of years!Dropped 1 star because there was very limited availability when I came to buy, meaning I had to get black instead of my preferred brown (admitedly partly my fault for late season).

Mein erstes paar habe ich 2011 in der Karibik gekauft und ich fand die Klasse. nach 6 Jahre hat sich langsam Abnutzung gezeigt.OluKai's haben eine Klasse griffige Sohle, Zehentrenner die nach 2 Tagen nicht mehr merkbar sind und einen Innenbelag der die Fussohle warm hält. D.h. sehen gut aus, Tragekomfort erstklassig und Langlebig !Für alle die am Anfang meinen der sitz etwas eng; das gehört so die geben noch etwas nach wenn sie getragen werden aber nur am Anfang. und dann sind es Hautschmeichler.Ich habe die beim Spaziergehen, am Meer und am See getragen

This was what I had expected out of the box. But on putting it on, the strap seem about half to one size too small. My foot does not slide in easily. I have to wiggle my foot into it. Seems to be the right size once I manage to get it on.This being a leather product, I thought it may require breaking in. It has been a week now. Better but not ideal, especially what I paid for. Based on the sizing chart, I did order the correct size.
