I loved it! Mandatory kitchen knife’s and good looking on the counter

The set is excellent value for money considering the brand name. However I think it’s shame there isn’t a filleting knife, but a bread knife and a huge chefs knife. They are a little loose in the block and don’t line up because the slots are big for the knives. It is hard to use the sharpener but it does work well.

There are two main knives: a santoku and a chef's knife. Obviously, a pair of scissors for the kitchen and a few steak knives. At first, I was disappointed there were so many steak knives, but I use them every single day to eat all of our food, including chicken breasts. It worked very well.

Expensive. Quality is very good. Wife is happy, i guess the review ends as she loves it.

Exactly as described, very useful set of knives which are used daily. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money.The holding block isn't over large, so doesn't take up a huge amount of room on kitchen surfaces.

Having a sharpener in the base is just so convenient!Lovely knives, well balanced and nice to hold. Steak knives are a real bonus and very good

The proud owner of a new KitchenAid made-in-America stand mixer, I thought I’d splash out on a set of similar-quality knives from the same manufacturer.Purchasers of these knives should go in with their eyes wide open:Although it says “Japanese steel” absolutely everywhere – from the blades to the box to the advertisement – the knives are actually made in China. Fine… my iPhone is made in China.In the case of these knives, however, the quality is not indicative of the brand. The handles are cheap, poorly finished plastic. The design is great and the blades look the business (and the reviews indicate strong performance), but don’t expect the handles to hold up.I’ve attached images of the product, including a bread knife alongside a top-quality German knife. There is a very noticeable difference (as you should expect for a SET costing less than a SINGLE knife). Buyers should just not expect a German- or Japanese-quality knife in this set.One final note: I had to carefully remove the bar code label, which was strategically placed ON TOP of the VERY small print that said “made in China”. C’mon KitchenAid – that’s really not on. (One star less for this "feature.")

Knives are good and sharp I’d used these elsewhere which made me buy them. Handy built in sharpener and scissors, also love the steak knives, good value for money
