Terra Fi Lite Leather Women's Sandal

If this were my first pair of Tevas, I probably would have given a higher rating. But, I have an old pair that are so much better that I couldn't raye them higher than a 3.Now, maybe people will like these sandals - maybe what I am looking for is not what others want. So with that in mind, they do fit as expected and are comfortable to wear.Here is where they fall short compared to my old pair.1) My old pair had the multiple velcro straps for adjustment, but they also had a snap buckle on the ankle strap. Anyone who has much experience with velcro knows that it wears out if you are constantly undoing and redoing it. With the old pair, I could adjust them once, and then use the snap buckle to take them on and off. With the new pair, I have to use the velcro every time, and I suspect that will greatly shorten the useful life of them.2) My old pair provided much better arch support. The new paid provides very little, and do if I am standing or walking much during the day I end up with sore arches by the end of the day.3) My old pair had a very cushy topsole that was made of a soft sueded fabric. It was very comfortable and provided a nice cushion. The new pair has a topsole of I don't know what. It may be brushed rubber, or may be a thin synthetic fabric. It is OK, but not nearly as nice as my old pair, which is now worn out. However, the old pair is still much cushier than the new one.4) The old pair provided much better support for my foot overall. It just felt much sturdier.So, if this is your first pair of Tevas, you might love them. If you are not planning to wear them all day while standing and walking, you might love them. If you are used to wearing cheap shoes that do not provide good support, you might love them. But, if you want a hiking sandal that provides good arch support and has good foot support overall, you might be disappointedThere is just no comparison between what Teva is now making and what they used to make.

I have been so disappointed. I have been wearing the same two styles of Tevas for years. And as most things do, they became discontinued! My regular ones disappeared a year ago & I have been making do with my dressier Neotas. They also were discontinued & the ones I have, saw better days a year ago!I broke down & ordered the leather FI Lites. Oh my goodness! I took them out of the box, put them on and have been in them all day!So comfortable! No, I wouldn’t go hiking in them...but for general wear, they are amazing. I just ordered another pair. Also leather.Teva, once again, hasn’t let me down.Oh, I have a small, wide foot.. 6 is what I usually wear .. 6 is what these are 😊

Ok, at first I was in love with these shoes ! I bought them as a rugged comfy sandal option for my over month long trip to SE Asia. At first they were exactly what I was looking for, a comfy walking / hiking shoe that I could get wet & rinse off when I was back at my hotel. But about 2 weeks into my trip, the shoes started rubbing pretty bad and made the sides and backs of my feet raw so I was limping in pain. I wrapped my feet up in bandages & changed shoes until they healed. But that's not even the worst part... the worst part is the smell ! The insides of the shoes are a slightly fuzzy almost suede material that does not dry well ! If you're planning to do any sort of hiking in these sandals they will get dirty, which should be no problem cause you should be able to just wash them in the sink, but not these ! When they dry they have a mix of moldy and foot smell & I've tried everything to clean them & make them not smell but nothing has worked ! I don't normally have this problem, & I think these shoes are just very poorly designed for what they are meant to be.

These Teva's fit perfectly whereas the ones that are not leather are way too wide. I was looking for Teva's that can be used with water sports, these are the only ones that fit properly so I will use them in the water even though they are leather. About 15 years ago I bought the leather ones and wore them for many different sports including water sports. They just fell apart, 15 years later, prety good:)

These were SO comfortable. I have wide feet, and finding sandals comfortable enough to wear for any extended length of time has always been an issue. I wore these for an entire week at Disney on spring break and had NO issues at all. No blisters, no discomfort, no pain. These provided the perfect amount of support and I loved that I could adjust the straps if my feet started swelling at all. True to size, as well.

They are expensive shoes so I knew they would have to meet my expectations to keep . I wanted a really GOOD shoe, quality, fit. And wanted my foot held securely in comfort since I am very athletic but also like style.THE FIT IS AMAZING, like a "shoe" glove.....I honestly am thrilled , nice high arch support, true to size....thank you AMAZON for the generous gift certificate.

I love Teva brand, and have a pair of the exact same (Terra Lite) but in brown. For some reason the 'footprint' on these were just 1/2 size smaller than my old brown Teva's which are a size (9). But, these black Teva's were just tad small, so I returned and ordered the 1/2 size up (9.5)and returned the size 9. Of course, I received the replaced pair before Amazon even received my return. These shoes are durable, comfortable and if you want support, but still want your feet to breathe, these are the shoes. I Love Teva brand and I Love Amazon!

I went through four pair of the Pretty Rugged Leather sandals - they were my favorites. So when they discontinued them, I could not find a new Teva leather sandal until now. The reason I like them so much is that the Velcro doesn't stick to the leather straps. My last pair got really torn up from the Velcro (see pic shoes how the Velcro sticks to the straps and tears them up). These are pretty much as nice as my Pretty Rugged Leathers, but the sole is a bit thinner. So we will see how these wear.

I have worn Teva sandals for over 20 years. Ok they used to be more expensive, but worth it for the quality! Always comfortable and UK sizing a perfect fit. Unfortunately my last good pair purchased in December 2017 were stolen whilst travelling. As soon as I received the replacement (same product style) in February 2019 the change in quality was striking. This version has been made using much cheaper materials and the strap design pushes my foot over the front of the sandal, so the sizing has changed also. The inner comfort layer of the sandal is clearly not suede as it used to be and the underside of the straps is scratchy, again inferior material to previous versions, which used to be soft against skin and comfortable from first wear, never a blister. Why ruin a good product? Teva was always such a reliable brand and I now will never buy again. I had to return these sandals and am now on the hunt for a sandal as good as the original Teva.....

I bought these to replace my loyal old pair of tevas which I have worn and loved for the past decade. I bought exactly the same size, and the closest fit to my old pair which are soooo comfortable I have literally worn them till they fell apart. Sadly the fit and quality are not the same; the new size 7 came up a good cm SHORTER than my last pair. What on earth teva? Why fiddle around with sizing??? So i have had the bother of returning them and ordering a size 8. Also the two skinny straps across the toes are really too fiddly to be durable, and simply not as comfortable as the older thicker strap with solid attachment. Still a decent sandal, just not really a walking sandal any more, just a generally reasonably comfortably shoe. I don't think I would wear these hiking. And the sizing was just annoying.

I've been wearing size 5s for the past 40 years so I'd taken it for granted that Teva would use the same sizing as everyone else, but for some reason they have created a sizing system all of their own. The sandals looked fine but even as I took them out of the box I could see that they were way too small. When I tried the sandals on my toes hung over the end, so the purchase went back to Amazon. Time wasted, still no sandals, grumpy customer.

Bought these to replace a pair of Pretty Rugged sandals that I have been wearing for many years. I took the advice of other reviewers and went up a size as Treva seem to have changed their sizes. The new sandals are not as comfortable as the Pretty Rugged. They do not support the feet as well as my old sandals. The foot bed is nowhere near as comfortable. The new ones have a pretty hard footbed.it is a great shame that Teva are manufacturing sandals of lesser quality and with styles that are for appearance rather than good supportive sandals for walking

I'm a size 7-7.5 so I ordered an 8. They are just about big enough. Nice, sturdy and simple with just enough Velcro to go around my ankle comfortably without rubbing, as I broke ankle recently. I enjoy the off-centre bit from ankle to foot strap. There is a comfortable amount of padding beneath straps to prevent too much rubbing - especially good as I have recent operation scars which make skin sensitive. So these are good. A bit expensive but everything is nowdays, so, probably average price-wise. A good sandal.
