Battery won’t hold a charge
The camera will only work when it’s plugged into a wall outlet. When I disconnect it, the battery will only last 2 minutes until it’s dead. In its current state, it’s unusable.Update: you charge the battery with the switch on. When it’s fully charged, the wall plug turns to green. It seems that you need to switch the battery to off right then to capture a full charge. If you charge overnight, the battery will hit fully charged and then slowly die for the rest of the night. At this point it seems too difficult to reach max charge. It was a Christmas gift, I’ll be testing it out this weekend and will provide an update.Update, charging seems to still be a pain but once you figure that out, everything else works great. Picture is crisp and battery lasts decent.

Amazing Product!
The media could not be loaded. First off, I did return this camera, but not because there was anything at all wrong with it other than I wanted to upgrade to the higher resolution camera. Used it ice fishing and it brings a whole new dimension to the sport. If you are in clear water, the picture is amazing. You can position the camera easily 10 feet from your lure and get an great view of all fish coming to the bait. If the water is murky, you may have to drill your holes very close to get a good view of your bait. I highly recommend getting one of the rotating panning devices in order to have control of the field of view without any spinning. You will enjoy seeing exactly what the reactions are to your presentations and be able to adjust your strategy accordingly. It just adds a whole new level of fun while sitting on a block of ice. As an Engineer, I also appreciated the overall design and functionality of this unit. Attached video was taken when the water clarity was maybe 4 out of 10. Keep in mind this is not anywhere near the quality you would see from the monitor. Great price too!
