Fundamentals of Microelectronics

So far this is the best book I have seen for Electronics basics.
The way analog circuit design explained is very systematic, for example the Av=gm*Rout and the way of getting Rout and improve Rout in different configuration for current sources, etc. is insightful!

Thorough introduction to Analog IC Design
Among the available references on Analog IC design, "Fundamentals of Microelectronics" by Razavi is by far one of the best references around.Unlike other textbooks, the book by Razavi has a more didactic, step-by-step approach, and many statements are always backed up by a quantitative analysis.Content-wise, like many other similar books, it starts from the grounds up. Beginning chapters are devoted to semiconductor physics. As it progresses, bipolar and CMOS based amplifiers are introduced. Multistage amps, and other topics such as Op Amps, Feedback, Frequency Response are covered in the next chapters. In short, I would recommend it as an introductory Analog IC design textbook.

NOT impressed
supposed to be brand new. the cover was used and half way ripped off. we taped the cover to stop any more ripping. photo of inside the front cover so that you can see the rip. of the outside so that you can see the use.
