So I had an overhead shower-head filter and was generally unsatisfied with it because it really lowered the water pressure and took forever to shower. I wanted to use it to filter my bath too....Just slowly filling the tub by running it forever. but it took way too long to fill the tub. So I bought this as an experiment along with a better shower head filter that guaranteed to keep the high pressure.... and by far just having a decent quality shower head filter overhead was way better than hanging this embarrassment off my bath faucet. It would have been a hassle and had to be lined etc. It was a good idea because any filtering of your water is better than no filtering if you have no other options (i.e. just a tub).... but if you have an overhead shower head there are better options on the market - can fill both bath and shower with that overhead piece better than this.

Works fine. Not sure how much it changes the ph yet. Have not tested. It does slow the water flow a bit as expected.

When I moved to a large city my long hair began to break severely and became like crispy straw.It didn't take long for my nearly waist-long hair to be diminished to shoulder length.My hair was in depressingly terrible condition and I didn't know why until I saw other people online complain about how hard the water was in our area.This filter helps the condition of my hair immensely.I'm now able to grow it out again with the help of conditioning products which were completely ineffective before I began to use the filter.I've been using this for about two years and my only suggestion is that the opening be made larger so more water can pass through at once.At its current size it takes a while for the tub to fill. This is why I deducted one star.Other than that, I am happy, my hair is happier, and I will continue to use this filter as long as I live here or until the day reverse osmosis water flows through every faucet in this home.

This item seems to work OK for the tub spouts it actually does fit- in my house 50% success rate : ( Also water filters quite slowly through it: keep flow rate low or water will overflow & not be filtered. It takes AGES to fill the tub with which it actually can be used ( original = large clawfoot) but my daughter reports improvement in itchy skin and persistent minor rash. She is a Bath Girl like her mama- who is awaiting a "crystal ball" to swish through filled tub, as these faucet-mounted ones don't work on my tub.

We were excited for this to arrive after installing a shower filter and vitamin C. After it arrived I realized how cheaply made the product is and small the actual bulb is. It's unsightly and would overflow even being hooked to a drinking water fountain. The next time I have a few extra hours to draw a full bath I'll give it another shot. The first operating instructions also were not listed so go figure on that.

Time will tell what I think of this item. I've used it a few times and other than I feel like it might be just a little too heavy for my garden tub faucet but I have worked around it by putting a coat hanger around the faucet knobs and having the hook part support the filter and I don't turn the water on very high.UPDATE: I'M BUYING ANOTHER ONE! I DONT SMELL CHLORINE IN MY TUB ANYMORE SO IT MUST BE DOING SOMETHING!

I have used these for years at my sink! They last a long time when you are just brushing your teeth or washing up or taking a drink!I love this product!

My item arrived without the attachment for the faucet. I guess I will have to figure this out for myself as I'm not messing with shipping this back halfway across the world. Very disappointing.

So glad we bought this! It takes out the high smell of the chemicals and we are happy we have it. No issues or problems whatsoever and we have used it a month or so and love it.

I thought it would overflow but its been perfect. It works well, my hair can actually be washed in the bath now without getting greasy. I imagine if I had one of those supercharged taps you find in many deep tubs, though, the water might flow over the sides - at the moment I just have a pretty normal tub with a basic tap.

Wasted money : no change when testing with a TDS meter. Also, it takes forever to pour a bath if you don't want water to spill all out (which defeats the purpose). Water will be cold by the time it's done.

It seems to eliminate some chlorine, but you do need to slow down the bath pressure or else, it will not have time to be filtered and will go overboard. I wish that there was something similar that eliminated more than just chlorine.The price is pretty good compared to another bath ball that I have seen out there. I see it as ''it can't hurt''.

I had to build my own attachment to get the water flow 100% in to the filter.
