I immediately put my new Zulay Kitchen bench scraper and chopper to use prepping vegetables for a stir fry. It's a well-made product and the non-slip ergonomic handle made it much easier for my arthritic hands to wield compared to the umpteen-years-old chopper I've been using. And I found the "Our Story" insert about how Zulay Kitchen started and who it's named after a nice touch.

Perfect for what I needed.

This bench scraper is handy, and easy for me to hold. It is wide enough to pick up a ball of dough, or half a batch of scones at a time, and the metal is sturdy. This was my first time using a bench scraper, and I’m so glad I decided to get it. The handle is plastic, which is not a big deal. That said, I will hand wash so it doesn’t potentially come apart from the dishwasher.

I'm not a baker so I use this dough cutter/scraper for transferring minced and diced vegetables and herbs from the cutting board to the cooking utensil. All these years I used the blade of a knife! This little jewel is so much safer! Loads so much more and I don't end up dropping little pieces on the way to the stove. Cleans just great in the washer. Oh, and yeah, the handle with the dip in the middle fits my hand making it so much easier to keep a grip. The etched measurements a easy to read too.

I liked my old scraper, which had more of a rolled steel edge for a handle. I was concerned that this one would be a pain to clean but needn't have worried. Sturdier than my old one and it has clear etched measurements which came in handy this evening, making baguettes.Great value, too.
