I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband. With the price of the dollar going down he figured better to buy now than later. During the height of the pandemic the gap between demand vs supply caused coffin prices to increase dramatically. I think I would have preferred the gold, but like my husband said I’m not going to be the one viewing it anyway. He has me lay in it to check the size and weight capacity (since I’m 534 lbs). No problems there but the lid did suddenly shut. Unable to be opened from the inside I felt terrified of the blackness and the air quickly became thin! Thank God a neighbor heard my pounding since my husband had apparently run to the beach for the weekend with his office buddy, Stephanie. Anyway it’s pricy. He paid almost as much for it as the beach condo! Tonight we will try again to see if the sizing still works as he thinks I may have gained a few pounds 😞. He told me Stephanie tried at, but since she’s a size 2 it’s probably best if I see how it feels myself! I hope that trick lid behaves. . It’s great to have a man who invests in our future!

Wow. Reviewing a casket on Amazon...It arrived when promised, in good condition, and well packaged. On opening I was relieved to find that it was really quite pretty, just as described.The local funeral home accepted it with good grace, though it was clear they weren't excited about losing that part of the sale. All in all, I would do it again.

Gramps liked it, he looked so peaceful and cozy in there. Only problem is, it wasn’t very stable, and he slipped out nearing the end of the ceremony. Other than that for the price it is perfect.

The casket was exactly like the one seen at the funeral home. The gentleman at Overnight Caskets was on point contacting me and trying to ensure timely receipt of the merchandise. The process went well. Thank you so much.
