Concrete anchor drill bit size?
Great product. But would like to know the drill bit size needed for the concrete anchors. This should be in the listing.

Great product, easy to use and high quality!
Overall I really like these and they seem quality built. The base plate is 8 gauge steel and the parts that hold the 4X4's is 14 gauge. And the come with with the hardware you need to fasten the 4X4's to the brackets, and the base to concrete.Speaking of hardware, I decided not to use the concrete anchors as I didn't trust myself drilling perfectly aligned holes. The sleeve of the anchor is 10mm and the hole in the base bracket is also 10mm. What would be ideal is if the base hole was 11-12, then I could level the pergola, set the base bracket bracket down, and then drill the anchor holes right through the base hole. These are 5 star brackets though and I am happy with the results. Especially if you have a not perfectly shaped or sized space for an out of the box 10X10 or 12X12 pergola. I needed about 11' 11" by 11' 2" to maximize the space I had, but what really sealed the deal for me is the box store pergolas are all 8 feet high and that would have put a 4X4 (and the top of the pergola) below eye level for me when in the house. I needed 10 feet to clear the window and building my own with brackets was the only solution for that.

Good quality product
The metal is heavy gauge and so are the anchors. You will probably need a planer as they initially did not fit the treated 6x6 posts. This may be due to the treatment making the posts slightly larger in diameter. They fit my purpose nicely as I rebuild our deck. I would buy them again.

These look great. I had to sand down my 4x4 a bit, but great quality!
The quality, color, welds are really awesome. Definitely feels premium and up to par with the major competitor. I had to sand down the wood a little bit but that could be due to imperfections in the wood pieces that I bought or maybe this just has very tight tolerances. Either way I'm really happy with what I paid and the quality.

Just what I was looking for!
Exactly what I was looking for. I’m building a deck with cover and these will do the job. I will be installing soon. Very sturdy with all the hardware. They look great as well.

Good quality materials
We bought these to install a pergola on a cement pad. The material seems to be high quality. The stainless steel bolts, especially, seem to be strong and durable--better and less expensive than what was sold at our local building supplies/hardware store. It was quite confusing though that the bolts are 5/16" wide and we were told at the hardware store that the hole we drill must be 5/16". Only 3/8" drill bits are sold near us. Long story shortened, even 3/8" holes were not large enough to get the bolts to go in. We made the holes a little bigger and they seem like they will hold up just fine. As another reviewer mentioned, it would be good if the holes in the bracket were large enough to drill the pilot holes through using them as a guide. We used drops of paint to mark where the holes should be. It was less than ideal as we had to move the brackets to drill the holes and then move all the brackets back in place. We lost some precision in the process, but we are amateurs. Perhaps there was a better way.

Paint rubs off... Overall Anchors work well
Overall, the anchors worked well (see 3rd picture) although the base of some of the anchors were not 100% "levelled". I have to give the product a 3 because the paint on two of the four anchors I received was chipped. There was no time to return the product for replacement. The paint is baked on the stainless steel so it was hard to fix it with a small brush (short of repainting the entire anchor with spray paint which may have not been resistant enough anyway). I did however manage to make it less noticeable. Just could not match the matte black paint exactly. (2nd picture). The manufacturer should perform better quality assurance on their products before sending them to the clients.
