Light & Motion Trail FC 1000 Bike Headlight

The light came fully charged. It's waterproof. I have yet to drop or hit it but it feels durable. It comes with gopro adapter and handlebar mount. I put it on my Smith Forefront helmet and I can barely tell its there. I have ridden mostly paved unlit trails and some downhill single track with it. I found the light output and duration to be fantastic. The side LEDs are a nice touch for urban riding.

The light is nice and bright. I bought 2 of these.Actually, I had to buy 3 b/c I had to return the 2nd one. The screw for mounting was so tight I couldn't remove it.I was sent a replacement quickly.The only issues I have now are that the nut on the screw for the one light often comes off. You have to be really careful not to lose that, especially out on the trails in the dark. The other issue is that there is a plastic cover for the charger port that doesn't stay connected. This almost always pops off when charging and I have to go searching for it on the floor.

Bought this to have an all-in-one helmet light. It puts out good light - haven't tested the battery life to its fullest yet, but I'm planning to take it on my upcoming 4 day bikepacking trip across Florida. As other reviews have said, the light does tend to slide down a little bit on rougher trails, but for the type of mounting system it uses, I think this can be acceptable.

This is a pretty good value as it comes with several mounting options that are normally required to purchase separately. I use this on my road bike during winter commutes. Now, the battery could last longer (lasts around 75-90 minutes at full brightness), but if I decide to take the long way for an hour+ morning ride I just charge at the office if I know I'll need it again in the evening.The small USB port cover isn't really useful as it will fall off after the first time you try to charge it. Never to be seen again.

Highly recommend. I use this light for riding in the dark (fast-paced and commuting) as my 2nd light mounted on helmet paired with Cateye Volt 800 on the bars. This one is not super lightweight but definitely lighter than the Volt (121g vs 180g), and definitely brighter and has much better battery life than my spare Niterider Swift 450 (81g). Helmet mount isn't the sturdiest, albite universal. I'm thinking of switching to GoPro helmet mount (I already own the mount and used to wear camera on helmet) because velcro straps of this helmet mount don't allow to tie it so that it completely doesn't bulge. Though, I'm not doing any MTB like said above, thus been procrastinating it. Safe pulse during day time, and various other modes depending on overall darkness of the night. Fast charging is a big plus - it takes about 6 hours to charge Volt after 2-3hrs of strobe, and this is charged fully in about 3 after 80 mins on the highest setting.

This is a very bright light that really lights up the road or trail. I prefer late night bike riding so this works perfect for me. It's rechargeable and comes with a cable for recharging from your computer or phone recharger. Fits on any handle bar. It is a bit pricey but I think is worth the money. I have one of these only a different model which I've had for about 7 years and still works great.

This light is super bright. I compared it to a $70 light that I purchased and there is no comparison. The other light felt like a match compared to this thing. I haven’t taken it on the trail yet but it’s going to be great.I love that it comes with a GoPro Mount because that’s what my hemet has on top. I wish it came with a screw for the GoPro Mount that’s the only downside. I have to track one of those down...

I used this light recently for 3-5 minutes during a home repair project and it burned my hand! It get physically HOT to the touch.Defective battery?Didn't notice this while mounted to my handlebars so now I can't return it!This is the response I got from the manufacturer (Great customer service---meh!)
