Comfortable, Fits and Works!
I've been using this for about a month. I only use it to fall asleep and I turn it off when I remove it. It's easy enough to turn off and I'm able to fall back to sleep. I've even put it back on in the early hours of the morning if I am restless and need another sleep story to help sleep come. I would suggest a little practice to make this automatic. There is a blue light that flashes regularly while in use and if it reflects off your pillow, it might distract but it won't overcome closed eyes. A partner might be bothered but a solution could be found. It wouldn't wake a person up. Take it off to turn it off. The voice that says 'turning off' is louder probably than what your sleeping mind wants to hear. It doesn't fit over both my ears perfectly, but it close enough. I do wear larger hats. It is comfortable.I've not used this in any other scenario. I use it with an iPad or iPhone.Quiltist

Good enough for the price
Ordered these as a replacement for my Dormí sleep headphones that I've finally worn out from nightly use. Not as good, but certainly acceptable for my use.First thing to note: these are definitely smaller. The headband is tighter, the speakers inside are smaller, everything is all around smaller. That's fine for me (actually nice because they stay in place better), but they probably wouldn't work well on my husband's head.I actually like the headband fabric and design better than my Dormí headphones. Just a preference thing. The control panel is basically the exact same. The audio quality? Meh. It's not rattling or popping or anything (yet) but it's really quiet. I have to turn it up all the way. It also feels like there's no bass, which is probably part of the volume problem. Also, you are not getting noise cancelling in the least. You're just not. My Dormí let in a lot of sound, and these let in more. There just isn't a way to do that with the headband headphones. If you want something approximating noise cancelling, buy some earplugs and the Dormí brand headphones so you can crank up the volume.I don't trust that these will last as long, but they are good enough for my needs and a functional replacement. Worth it to not lose an earbud overnight or wake up with sore ears.

Love this product!
I bought this product, because my husband does not like it when I had the TV on when I was sleeping. So I switched to my iPad for viewing television programs. I was using regular earbuds to fall asleep too. The earbuds had a tendency to hurt my ears when I was sleeping on them. So I started looking for something that would be a good alternative to that. I found these when I was doing a search on Amazon, I absolutely love them. I can’t speak to the battery life when I get up in the morning I just plug them back in so either ready to go for that evening. They are so very comfortable don’t bother your ears at all. It stays and plays very well and you can also use it as a sleep mask if you would like the headband part is large enough to come down over your eyes. For the price that I paid I would recommend this to anyone. Earbuds can cost $200 plus these are worth every penny that I paid for them. I don’t think that I’ve had a better purchase in recent years.

You get what you pay for
Let's start with the positives. These were super simple to pair up. They charge quickly and the charge does last long enough for my purposes. The fit is iffy. I read other reviews and having long hair I took the suggestion to put it on like a headband which did work but there's the issue of getting the ear headphones to line up. As much as I fussed with it I couldn't get it to stay put but it was still functional. No issues with sound or quality of sound. As I said the hearing doesn't line up but it still was ok.This does not cancel out background noise but for me I was able to work with it.Others complained that the headband made them sweat. I easily overheat but did not experience this at all. The headband is made of a slightly stretchy thin fabric. Kind of surprising to me as I expected a higher quality but you get what you pay for.It could be more comfortable because it does slide around somewhat and if you're looking for something sturdier these aren't it.They are easy to use, but if you have a big head/a lot of hair or want it to cancel out background noise then I wouldn't recommend them.

Pro: Design/Comfort; Con: LED Status/Forehead Mark
The design is comfortable - I don't like velcro straps or buckles in the back of other designs. The flashing blue LED status light is not ideal for sleeping and when I got up this morning I had a welt on my forehead. The sound quality is adequate for audio books, but not music. The audio can also be heard by anyone in proximity.

Thick speakers not for side sleepers
I've tried several of these types of sleep handbands and this one did not work for me. Compared to the others, this one has the thicker style of speakers - about 1cm thick (whereas the thinner variety is closer to .6cm). As a side sleeper, the speakers began to hurt my ears after 30 minutes or an hour of laying on them. Also, the headband is a very smooth material, to the point that it's slippery. This, combined with the fact that is a bit tighter than some of the others, would cause it to slide down my hair as I slept. I'm returning this one.

Better than expected
I sleep listening to podcasts. It has been so uncomfortable sleeping with earbuds in because my husband does NOT sleep listening to anything. This has been a game-changer. Not only is it comfortable, but the sound quality is also excellent and the battery life is amazing. I have gone 3 nights before having to charge it. It is a little large, so I am going to take it in at the back to make it a bit snugger. The only complaint that I have is that it flashes though the whole night- you are able to fold the top over to cover the receiver, but I am putting a piece of black tape over it.
