The Jerks at Dell Who Designed My Laptop Made Me Have to Buy This
I use a Dell XPS15 for work. It is the very best. It is an aluminum beast, packed with RAM, designed to chew through big tasks like SQL queries and whatnot (while also playing a steady stream of YouTube videos), with the ease of a hot knife cutting through a Snickers bar. It is so up to date, it literally was released tomorrow. HOWEVER, for some reason, Dell feels like it should only include 2 USB A ports in a 5.5 pound, 15” laptop. Ya know, because there just ISN’T room for extravagances like that in a laptop that basically splits the seams in a normal-sized backpack. Meanwhile, for some reason, I feel like I should have at least 5 things that all use USB A style plugs. What to do? Cry? Write a mean letter to Dell? Shed my beloved accessories? Quit my job and learn how to weave so I don’t need a computer for work any more? NO. None of these extreme solutions are needed. Dry your tears, little one. This hub allows me to use all of my accessories, no fuss, no muss. Pros: well made. Does not cause problems. Flat bottom and sides so it does not slide around. Cable is just long enough to let it sit on the desk instead of dangling from the laptop like a mutant appendage. Cons: none.

PERFECT FOR KEYBOARD RIG - KORG nanoKONTROL, Keyboard, vMeter
I have a MacBook Pro 2018, which only comes with quad USB-C/Thunderbolt ports and a headphone jack. I was struggling with running out of ports for a keyboard rig, and ended up having major issues using StarTech's products (unless they were plugged directly into the laptop, of which their cables were WAY too small, and thus wouldn't ever work for me without an extension cable). None of those worked with an extension cable, and the powered one wouldn't even power up my devices using the power adapter and an extension cable? Really odd. There were three devices, with on at 1000mA, and the other two way under that. This basic hub works perfectly to power all three devices no problem, and has an excellent amount of cable to get from my laptop stand to my keyboard hub/device setup (Keybord, Korg nanoKontrol, memory stick for backing up a concert file, or copying data between my phone and my laptop, and last, a vMeter, may add another vMeter still). So thankful to finally have this setup the way I wanted.

Good Amazon quality
I tried to get a sleek usb hub for my new MacBook which only has usb-c and spent $$$$ only to get a product that did not work. I decided to get an Amazon basics product. I have several others and they all work and they are all certified to work with mac. This product works well, but is bulky and awkward. It is hard to find a place to put it if you are working in a small space. I wish it was a bit more streamlined and just plugged right into the computer without the dangling cord. Otherwise, it is a great value and works fabulously. The others are just my preferences.

Much needed accessory to my new MacBook Pro
The new MacBook Pro comes with only four of the newer USB 3.1 Type-C ports of which none of my current exterior hard drives or DVD drives work. This was the least expensive hub I could find and it works great. So far I have had no problems with it since I bought it in December. I currently use only three of the four ports with two external hard drives and one DVD drive I also bought. I am able to charge through that extra port even though it says it doesn't. I am not sure why but I only have tried it twice. It has a 12" cord. I can't measure its speed of transfers but I haven't seen any reduction speed for transferring files or playing movies off of my harddrives.

Great!!! But there is a LONG Waiting Process.
As everyone said, this product takes about 2 to 3 months before it is shipped. I bought my USB hub around August and didn't get it until around late October, early November. It was a long wait process and I thought that I won't be able to get my USB hub, but after waiting for a long period of time I finally got my product. My USB hub works perfectly and I was able to get an external hard drive, a USB, and a laptop cooling pad working at the same time. Though I got to admit, it was a "bit creepy" after the first few days using it since my cooling pad and external hard drive was still running after I turned off my laptop. Overall, I am gonna say that I am satisfied with what I purchase and I will totally recommend others to buy this product. However, it will take quite a long time before you actually get your item. If you can wait, then go ahead and buy this. If not, then I suggest buying another USB hub. But overall, it is worth it

Time will tell
Easy to use. One of my mouses was having issues with stuttering once I connected through this device but I replaced the mouse and made sure the plug was not bent, and have had no further issues so don't know what the cause of the problem was. Sad it wasn't available in black (single pack) and it seems somewhat expensive, but still happy this option was available.

Works well, Great Price
This is a USB C to USB hub. It allows you to connect to a USB C computer or other device and then load on older USB devices. I got a few of these as USB C devices come out. The good news is it works well and is inexpensive. The bad news is I now have to carry more connectors in weight than the laptop! Hopefully someone can say enough for the connectors. I get the point but I now have crates of them going back to VGA monitors and parallel printers. No, I do not use them, and yes someday I will dump them all!

Nothing Special, Perfect if That is What You're Looking For
I like that the USB cable is a little longer on this unit than others I saw online, it was perfect for what I'm using it for. Keyboard, Mouse and Portable Hard Drive all jacked into one port I can easily remove if I need to take my laptop with me. Not powered, and the model tells you to keep the the energy demand under like 950milliamp, which I am respectful of, so no issues. Glad I bought it.

Solid built value for money
Bought for my HP laptop which has 1 USB-C and 2x USB3.1. With 1 USB 3.1 used for external keyboard/mouse, this device converts the USB-C to 4 USB3.1 ports. It is great for external harddisk transfer. I'm using it to clone Windows HDD to SSD (couple with Freegene 2.5" and Orico 2.5"/3.5" dock), woks well and speed is great. Solid metallic casing. Like the top-loading port.

can not argue - does the job prefectly
Go this to use with my surface go. WOrks great, cable is just long enough to lay the hub on the table once it is connected so it doesn't pull on the port.Worked no problems.

Very high quality for the price
As simple as a hub with 4 USB3 blue ports. They all worked really well. I have this AmazonBasics USB 3.1 Type C to 4 port USB hub connected to my laptop PC and used the USB2 & USB3 drives, External HDD, Android phone and an SD card USB reader/adapter. All of them worked perfectly together at the best speed.I didn't have to download an app in order to use it. Just plug and play. Very easy to use.High speed data transfer is possible with this hub. There is not much difference in speed when all the ports are connected to some busy devices. Works great. There wasn't a cheap feel to it, but a great quality one. This hub is small and durable so I keep it with me when I go out and come in. Built quality and the looks meet premium products.Highly recommended for using with phones have Type-C connector. The Nokia 6 plus takes it, my friend checked and it works like an extension port for his smart phone. The box it came in was very nice and delivery was also good.Overall I am really satisfied with this product and I recommend this one for everyone.UPDATE: After few months of daily use still as good as received. No scratches, shades, or damage to the product or its cable code.
