I bought this to use in a dinky little bathroom that no one ever wanted to use because it was dark.I had installed LED light bar over the sink but it didn’t reach the back of the “L” shaped bathroom.This did the job perfectly and there’s an added bonus, the Bluetooth speaker is pretty cool; although, I would have paid the very reasonable price just for the LED light.The Bluetooth speaker isn’t high Fidelity, but it provides a good quality sound at decent volume levels, so I’m good with it.It scrolls through numerous preset color “scenes,” or you can pre-select a single color, and adjust brightness, which is pretty cool.It’s all controlled from your phone via an app you can get for free from any App Store.The install was incredibly easy, less than five minutes, no tools required, and linking device to the app wad simple too.I like them so much I’m going to buy more of my other bathrooms.I would highly recommend this; it works as advertised, is inexpensive, is easy to install, and it is pretty cool.

The first one I got was missing pieces (box looked to be smashed during shipping) the new one arrived I installed. Easy and Quick install. Given the size the audio quality was good. Similar to audio quality in a waiting room. The Led is good and brightens up the bathroom well. Haven’t messed much with the different mood colors. Tried briefly seemed cool. Bluetooth connected easily. Overall I’d say it does what it advertised and I’m content. If you think you need all kinds of heavy bass and some out of this world audio I would look somewhere else. But for the money, the quick switch out, ease of install I am happy.

Nice options on lighting. App is a little slow but not bad although it's annoying you have to connect manually with the fan every time. Saw some comments on speaker not being loud -- had the same problem. Suggestion if you use an iPhone: Make sure you have "reduce loud sounds off" under headphone safety in your iPhone settings. Made all the difference. Easy install of cover. I wish when you turned it on it could remember your settings or you could install a light switch with the cover to control the light and connect to your phone.

Looks great and light is super bright. Unfortunately 3 sones isn’t a quiet enough to hear the Bluetooth speaker. So this product is a waste. I should’ve just opted for the same one without the blue tooth speaker since I never use it ~ cause I can’t hear it :-(

This is a great idea, a drop-in replacement for a fan installed in millions of homes built during a certain era, but it has a huge flaw. The idea is that you can use an app to program a light color and brightness level. The issue is that the settings are not retained after the fan combo is shut off. So every time you turn on the switch, you have to get out the app, have it connect, then change the settings. The basic design of the fan is that it will lose all power when the wall switch is turned off, there is no way to avoid that without replacing the entire system, Broan needs to make a model with something to retain the settings, a button battery perhaps, or just a couple of AA batteries. Something that just needs replacing every year or two. Without this, the unit is much less useful to me. I returned it.

Works fine however the settings reset when you turn off the exhaust fan - meaning you need to open your phone, and the app every time to change the settings unless you want the bright white light. Disappointing, and not worth uninstalling and returning at this point. Otherwise, the colors and build-in programs are fine. Release one that saves settings when power cycled and you've got 5 stars.

Quick upgrade which saves time, money and works great!!!!

This was so quick and easy to install. The lighting options are really cool and pretty, plus you can create your own lighting presets! The sound quality doesn’t have much bass but that is expected. The overall sound quality is good! I absolutely love this and am so glad I got it!

Our interior designer inspired us to purchase this. Super simple to install, Bluetooth compatible and cute lighting.

I enjoy this speaker fan daily. The downside is that you have to download an app to use the various lighting customizations, but it’s easy to use. It doesn’t remember your light settings when you first turn it on - you have to re-connect to Bluetooth and open the app on your device every time. But otherwise, the speaker, fan, and light functionality work well.

Speaker is crackling. Can not connect to app for lights. Save your money people.
