Ground Efx Metal Detector Mesh Bag

I really like this bag for metal detecting. I hunt the sand and the water at the beach. The bag is made really well and will hold a lot of treasure (really more junk we pick up) but the small zipper pocket at the top will keep the real treasures you find safe until you get home. Being a mesh bag is great.. It lets the majority of the loose sand fall away while holding everything nicely in the bag. When in the water, the mesh bag actually lets the water clean the items of sand and dirt which just washed away making your load a bit lighter. There is only one feature, For me, that was annoying which is the Velcro closure at the top which works too well when you are trying to put something in the bag with one hand. I know it was meant to keep everything safe from falling out but this bag is made very well and gravity will keep it all at the bottom of the bag where it belongs. I used some other Velcro to negate the Velcro feature making putting things in the bag quick and a breeze. One of the main reason I purchased this bag along with the mesh design was the ability to put it on my own belt. I don't know why half of the metal detecting bags sold have an attached belt? I think they would sell more of the other bags if they just came with the belt NOT attached and then you get a choice how to use it. I would recommend this bag and I would purchase this bag again!

I wanted to like this bag. I do a lot of detecting and having a mesh bag at the end of the day is a blessing when it comes to cleaning up all of the trash dug. Smaller dirt and debris will just fall right out. However, the quality here is sorely lacking. I've had to buy two of these over the past 5 months due to poor quality.The first one, one of the loops for attaching to a belt simply broke due to poor stitching. Rather than make a fuss or try and return it, I simply purchased another one. This was two and a half weeks ago. Its stitching has failed on the pouch near the zipper rendering the pouch useless as things can simply fall out even if zipped. This is a great idea, but poor craftsmanship/quality control makes it a poor purchase.

At first I didn’t like the Velcro but it makes sense after using it. Good product and the material of the mesh feels very durable.1 year update: I cut the ugly logo off immediately after purchasing it which was very simple with a sharp knife. This bag is the only one I use for metal detecting now because of separated pouches and the mesh quality. It feels like it has a rubberized coating. Very nice and the velcro is a hit or miss.

Perfect size. Does not get in the way, like the bigger bagsIt has a snap that makes it easy to put on and take offwithout unbuckling your belt. It's webbed so the sand can fall out.Has a zipper so your stuff doesn't fall out. Strong material.Thoughtfully madechuck

Initially, I thought there was only the top belt loop, but there are two on the reverse side for extra strength and stability. This will function extremely well, especially for wet work. It was also well packaged. I look forward to using it.

This is a great bag for detecting and hold small and larger things and it was easy to add my own belt clip to it.

Came on time, it was exactly as expected. Great item for the price. It seems to be well made.

This bag is just what i was looking for to metal detect in the water. I melted the velcro so the bag would stay open. Otherwise you need two hands to open the velcro on the top of the pouch.
