Good long vga cable
This is being used in my wife's classroom to connect her computer to the ceiling.projector. You would THINK the public school would have gotten her a long enough cable, but apparently a 10 foot one was all they could find and it was literally strung across from the desk to the wall, cutting off the side of her desk. I ordered her this one and it was plenty long enough to route down the wall, under a runner across the floor, and then up to the desk. Now she doesn't have to worry about herself or one of the students taking out the computer and themselves out tripping over the cord. The length had no apparent effect on the signal and it works just like it should with the projector. 5 stars!

No good. Computer wouldn't recognize the monitor and had major issues sending a reliable signal. Never was able to get it work. Too long, too low-quality, or some combination of the two. I was going to return it, but I'm lazy so it's just joined my big crate of cables in case I someday have a role for it to fill. I doubt I will, but there are cables in that crate that qualify as antiques... and hey, I might need that someday!I purchase another cable, [UL Listed] Cable Matters Gold Plated VGA Monitor Cable with Ferrites 15 Feet, 100% Bare Copper , to replace this one, and it's working with some reservations.

Very nice!
I purchased this to replace a 6' cable that I was using with a 19" tv (now I'm using a 42", so I want to be a little further from the tv), this is alot thicker and heavier that the 6' cable. And seeing that it comes coiled up it tends to keep the coiled shape, that's something else to consider. But I've run it along a wall and bundled it with other cables with zip ties so that solved that problem. But the picture still comes through clear as ever, and it gives me some distance from the tv as well. This is something you wouldn't want running up the middle of your floor, but if you tripped over it I think it would survive.

Weak Sheilding on 60 inch Plasma Monitor
Not quite as I expected. The shielding is weak on this relatively thin cable for being 25 feet long. Produced some background noise on the 60 inch plasma screen we connected it to with a laptop computer. So resorted back to a much thicker shielded cable that was purchased over 6 years ago, that's probably not made anymore for the older vga standard, that we thought we lost and found a few days later that worked without any background noise.

Top quality, good value, VGA cables!
I wanted one of these cables for a couple of reasons. I can connect a second monitor to my computer, or I can connect my PC to my flat panel television. If your computer, monitor, TV, or other device has a 15-pin VGA port, this cable will connect it. I looked at the cost in the stores for a 25' cable, and they ranged from $24 to $35. This one was $10 or $12, and it appears to be excellent quality. I am so happy with the high quality, low prices, and dependable shipping from Amazon.

I've never seen a VGA cable this thin. Why?
This cable produces a really poor image quality. Bright areas produce huge streaks of white shade. A thicker cable I had lying around did perform the same way. See image for thickness of this cable [top] compared to my other one [bottom]. I had planned to put this cable into a wall for a home theater setup but I think I'll go with something that's UL recognized.

Excellent
This product is perfect for what I needed it for. My sister had a very old PC with an integrated video card with a VGA connection. She just bought a flat screen tv with a VGA in connection. This device transmits a perfectly clear picture to the TV. It is very important you get an amplifier like this one for any kind of display splitter so you will not have image distortion or degredation. This product works perfectly, and is alot smaller than it looks on the screen! I was amazed how small it actually was. You will be happy with this product.

Not a Durable Cable
Cable worked great for three months then stopped working. I was using it In my classroom and had to roll and unroll it frequently. So if you are looking for a cable that can be disconnected and reconnected frequently this is not the cable. It's just not durable enough.
