No need to iron as it does not chrisp.

I am assuming you mean upholstered. If so, no. It is just the fabric. Bought two for my daughter who say they are great.

Q: Would this fit a standard size Microsoft Asus laptop, charger and also some A4 books at the same time?

There probably is enough space but the straps are not the most sturdy and bag is a fairly thin material. It looks good but I don’t think it’s the best for heavy use ie heavy books etc as it’s a low slung bag. Straps dig in over time as they are pretty thin and can’t with stand heavy use
