Can’t go wrong with this
If you suck at getting a boat back on at the launch this is for you. Once tipped a boat on its side and almost sunk it but this will not let that happen.Easy to install (even if ur a woman), very durable hard as hell to break or ding. Design is good and you cannot go wrong with it. Works 10/10

Excellent Quality
I was initially nervous as the tubes only slide onto the metal bars, with no fasteners to hold them on. I haven't had any issues with it after several trips to the lake. Having guide posts is SO nice, especially when putting the boat on the trailer with any wind. Keeps things aligned!

Zzzero Stars!! THESE ARE NOT GALVANIZED!!! FALSE ADVERTISING
The U-Bolts they give you are cheaply made. They are too small to hold. The compression bracket bends so easily, then you end up having to weld the bracket on which then it becomes non-adjustable.But the major problem with these is they are not galvanized. There's not even a coating on the inside of these things at all... At all!!!I bought a set last year and this year, I just had to order another set to replace them because they were already rusted through from the saltwater use. I made sure this set said that they were galvanized because I wasn't sure last year. But sure enough, they said galvanized! But they are far from it. The insides of the tubing is not even painted.I doubt the cheap coding they put on these is even cold applied. Looks like DTM enamel. If you are using these in salt water, don't waste your time! You will be replacing them in a year or less.Unless you are going to take these somewhere and have them hot dipped, don't waste your money.

Work great.
Price was right, cannot understand why an idiot (me) did not have these on trailer from New. I can back trailer deeper in water and float boat nearly to winch and boat will center on back roller perfectly. I lived with out these for 8 years , what a idiot.

This is for the 46" Aluminum square tubing version only. Not bad!
So there is very little information on the 46" Aluminum Tube version out there so I thought I would fill some in.These are indeed thick walled aluminum tubing. Probably about 3 to 4mm thick or .15" roughly so they are substantial and stiff.Being aluminum water will not hurt them, even salt water much. They are unfinished. The tubing is 1.5" square from measurements.A 2" schedule 40 pvc pipe will fit right over them and rotate fairly easily so that is good. Nice way to prevent damage to your boat when it rubs against them loading or unloading. The bracketry provided is not aluminum but is galvanized. It is really designed for smaller trailers without standing platforms behind the fenders and just a frame member to bolt around.Would not work for my trailer.I'm going to have to make custom brackets to mount them to my platforms. The hardware/ubolts provided are not very strong and I will not be using them. There is a welded on tab partway up the tube vertical designed to keep the pvc tubing from sliding all the way down I would imagine. It is very sharp cornered and will need to have the corners ground off or it will surely draw alot of blood at some point on some part of your body.I think the brackets provided would have worked for me if there were two or more of them. They are only about 5" long and just don't grab enough length of the horizontal part of the tubes to hole them from twisting or bending if they take a good hit from the boat on windy days. The need to be about 12" long at least for me and I will make mine that long minimum. The are bent at 90 degrees also instead of slightly canted out which would have been a better design.I may try to open up the bend slightly on mine, not sure if I could even bend that aluminum tubing tho. It is STIFF!.Overall the actual poles are good but the mounting hardware not so much which seems to be the consensus for these kits.I've taking off two stars for the mounting system being kind of half baked. However there are just not that many good options to buy out there short of having something custom made and welded in.Hope this helps somebody.

Nice Addition!
Fit great, easy install, and a nice addition for loading the John boat

Bracket and provided clamp seem stout. Roller Assembly and Provided Hardware insufficient.
The rollers are held together by a small diameter sheet metal screws requiring retightening. Should have provided threaded rod long enough to fasten the rubber sections together through the roller brackets and provided washers and nyloc nuts to eliminate the vibration loosening. One trip and I have already lost the top screw and rubber cone of one of the assemblies. The Provided Fastening Hardware was insufficient. Replaced with eight 5/16" Diameter x 6 inch galvanized Steel Bolts, washers and nyloc nuts and added mending plates to resolve this. Hardware is not cheap and my solution added $25.00 in cost. You may conclude that the more expensive selections offer more suitable hardware packages and result in a better installation experience.

Very good qualify. I gave it 4 star only because the U shape screw thing only works with bigger rail
While my trailer is too simple, and the only place I can install this is on a much smaller sized rail. The U-shape screw thing does not have threads all the way, and I have to find two steal square pipe to put between the rail and the bracket.Anyway, it works perfectly. It's so useful when loading the boat to the trailer, as well as backing up the empty trailer (cause I couldn't see the trailer when I turn my head back, without the boat on it).Very good quality and very sturdy.

Not the right angle but does the job
They should be manufactured vertically to be closer to the pontoons. instead of going out on a 45 degree. Technically does not really guide my Pontoon . If the pontoon goes way off the trailer, then the guides do work and does what it’s supposed to.
