I would give this more than five stars if I could. I love this tea! The flavor is so strong, delicate, smooth and earthy at the same time! It dissolves really well without wisking hot or cold.

Delicious tea! I want to order more, but it's very expensive for not very much tea. Is there a way to buy more in bulk and get it at a little less expensive price? It took nearly two months to get it also, which I understand is because it's overseas. If I had a little more, then I could maybe order it automatically every three months or so???

Decent. About same as average teabag tea out there you can buy. I was over-expecting better flavor since it's made by Japanese company. Probably convenient to make cold tea quick. Be prepared for long shipping time.

I've known/grew up with this brand since I was very young. Ito En is a very popular brand in Japan. I've started with Ito En Ooi Ocha tea bags first and got hooked on it right away. I purchased this because I wanted to use it in cooking as well as drinking. Like the package suggests (さらさら), it melts instantly in water. Not as bitter as I prefer but great taste. You won't even feel the powder. Color and fragrance is beautiful. You can not only use this for Bread / Cake making, but use it to sprinkle on your Vanilla Ice Cream to make a simple DIY Matcha Ice cream =)Although, I used up the bag pretty fast, so I'm thinking of ordering a bigger bag soon. There's a 80g version of this too.If you want something slightly stronger than this, I'd also suggest "ITO EN Hey tea silky green tea containing dark brown 32g"I gave 4 stars because my actual shipping took 2 months, and the price was set too high.

I had this tea on Japan Airlines and loved it! It isn't easy to find, so I ordered it from Japan. The tea dissolves easily in cold water and has a nice taste. The price was reasonable and it arrived relatively quickly. I got a nice note from Youhei and Yuki and a piece of tasty Japanese candy as a present from the daughter! Nice touch.

This is a good matcha tea that has a nice 'grassy' taste, yet not in an unpleasant way. It is very mellow and not astringent like some green teas. It can be brewed with hot or cold water since it is matcha with instant green tea.

I love the tea but can't believe the price. This comes from Daiso which is a dollar store in Japan... I wish the seller would make it more reasonable. Either that, or I'm going to have to ask my friends to send me some.

I do not profess to be an expert on matcha. I have tried a few and like this one. The price is fair. It is bright green as it should be. It mixes well in cold or hot drinks without bitterness or grassy taste. I like to add my own milk and sweetener, so this works for me. I will purchase it again.

We Japanese people usually buy this Macha powder from this Ito-en back in Japan.So it is very reliable, and taste is the same (of course water is different from Japan, so it tastes bit different which I can not complain)We drink this put in cold water and shake a few times until it is solved in the water. No ceremonial, no need to posh.Green tea works to help to kill germs. So it is used in nursing home (especially) to gaggle. I am glad that I can buy this in the UK.My thicker matcha powder is getting shorter, (from Ito-en which I could find in the UK ) unfortunately, but I can still have the pure Matcha, cold green tea in the UK. For me, for Japanese, this Ito-en’s one is the best!

Schmeckt geschmacksmäßig auf alle Fälle wie die Version in den Flaschen. Sehr positiv überrascht. Auch löst es sich gut auf. Auf jeden Fall eine gute Alternative, wenn der lokale Asia-Markt kein Ito En auf Lager hat.
