It is small enough for my little cat. It dissolves really quickly, so make sure your hands and work area is dry.I had to return them because I cannot fill all the supplements she takes in one capsule.

My wife bought a bag of these empty pills and we quickly realized they were too small. I think the size she ordered was a 2 or a 3.It would have taken her an eternity to fill the pills, so I figured I’ll place the order for her. If 2 was too small, 5 surely will be bigger.I bought it, it arrived and… they are tiny. Much smaller than what she bought(please keep in mind my wife is not very good at Intgernet type things and especially e-commerce. While I have been an IT professional since 1991, and I am a web developer that builds systems like Amazon, my wife just recently realized we have progressed beyond Fax Machines).Eventually, I realized that in the Empty Gelcap Capsule industry or BIG GEL as I will call it from now on0 = large while 5 = small.I had no idea, sue me.I ordered a pack of 00 capsules and they work just fine (000 are the size of a model submarine or a horse pill), but when I went to return these, still in their original pack and everything, I discovered that they are not returnable.I realized this is essentially “food” and subject to spoilage, but we now have 3 packls of gel capsule with only one of the packs useful to us. It’s annoying.I looked at this product description and indeed there is a handy size chart in one of the pictures. I wish I had seen it sooner.However, I distinctly remember looking for some hint as to what size I needed to buy, so I looked to the right of the picture where dimentions usually are.That would have been an excellent place to remind the customer how these pills are sized, because for those of us that are not pharmacists, it makes absolutely no sense.A simple line of text such as (I am making the numbers up)Size 000 = 12 mm | Size 1 = 6 mm | Size 5 = 3 mm |and so on would have been fantastic.As I mentioned, I built countless e-commerce platforms over the years and if there is one thing I have learned is that people buy stuff while distracted. People make assumptions, people don’t read, but then they complaint, as if the vendor didn’t allow them to read the multiple notices and alerts.In this case, if I assume even 20% of my customers are unfamiliar with gel pills sizing standards, I’d wither list them in MM/Inch or I’d place an alert everywere I could:“Size chart in second picture from the left”or“5 = smallest size | 000 = largestg size | SEE CHART PICTUREAm I making sense? There are days when I manage to fool myself in thinking I am on the verge of understanding how Quantum Mechanics works. At trivia night, with a small modicum of luck, I can come across as a genius.Yet, Gelcaps sizing standards have apparently eluded me for decades. Go figure.Incidentally, we’ll be buying a lot of these gelcasps. My wife is taking a herb she hates the taste of, so gelcaps it is.If I find a vendor within a reasonable price-point that actually makes it easy to recognize the size standard, I’ll be buying from them. Wish me luck.

No contraption needed although it’d probably make it faster. You can just push them together with your fingers and they lock good enough to seal liquid.

I rarely review items anymore, but this has made the routine of giving my cat medications so much easier. My cat is on a heart failure regimen and takes 3 tablets a day. Since they are a bit slippery I think my cat has an easier time taking medications. My cat also does not like how plavix/clopidogrel tastes (to the point of becoming nauseous and foaming at the mouth) and the gelatin capsules make taking this particular medication so easy and stress free for him. The capsules are tiny also which is perfect for a small animal

These are good for what I need them for. The quality is good & what I was hoping for. I bought these since my regular brand was out of stock.
