These traps are perfect in every way. We had what seemed like an uncontrollable amount of ants. And we are clean and immaculate people and keep a clean kitchen. We used these traps last year and the ants were gone in 2 days. Interestingly enough was the size of them. Tiny enough to get into any Crack or Crevice. We had them on our kitchen counter. We saw them flocking to one trap for some reason and not to the other 5 we put down. Just like last year....BANG! GONE IN 2 DAYS! That was Round 1. We then saw them entering through our Deck Door. We laid down 2 traps in strategic places and just like that, Round 2 BANG! GONE IN 2 DAYS. Frustratingly, it wears on you knowing you keep a clean house and then These little bastards get in your house. You sit there feeling hopeless. But now you won't have to knowing these things are available. These things really work....AND FAST! Wish I could buy stock in this company.

I have tried - Lord KNOWS I've tried - pretty much everything out there. I normally use Raid products, but as far as their ant traps go, an ant would have to trip over them and break its neck, because the lure/poison doesn't work at all. So ORTHO.It is a weird set up, so follow directions, and the bait is liquid, so hide it from kids and animals.That said, so more tiny ants everywhere!And that is what you want, am I right?

It's easy to use and does it's job. it took a little while to actually kill the ants cause the liquid was up pretty high but once you dump a little out it works quick. we noticed results in just a few days!

Just don't use them all at once

Every year I have ants take over my kitchen. I try everything to get rid of them except sprays and exterminator due to having pets and a toddler and not wanting to expose them to poison. This season the ants started to come around and I put these out and the next day they were gone! I’ve had them out for several weeks now and no ants in site. Of course I’ll see one or two ants every once in a while but this is no problem for me, especially compared to the issues I’ve had in years before. I love warm weather but can never enjoy it due to the overwhelming amount of ants that are in my house. This stuff is a life saver for real. I place it in an hidden place so kids and pets can’t get to it because it is an open container and could easily be spilled if gotten into, but still works perfectly hidden away.

With the start of summer we always have the same routine spray the house and put out bait, living in Florida it is just a reality. But this time around I decided to use Ortho’s ant bait... within a few week I could plainly see the ants doing everything around the bait but eat it. It was obviously just an obstruction to them not an attraction. Within a month I ordered my tried and true ant bait Terro! It finally came in and I immediately placed it right next to Ortho’s Home Defense Ant Bait within an hour the Terro bait looked like spring break for the ant! I did not realize how bad the infestation was until I saw how many ants were attracted to the Terro ant bait. Within a week the ants where gone with the occasional straggler. I was having an ant problem in my kitchen due to my back yard being swampy. The ants would come through my window which I know isn't sealed properly and it made me so mad. I bought these and laid them on the window sil. The ants die instantly they go in get the liquid and done don't even make it out. The only thing I don't like is you have to be very careful when putting it down as it can spill. If you're like me and love moving furniture try to remember it's back there because it will leak out every where. Other than that it works perfect
