Definitely works well!! Maybe too well? I was giving my son a hair cut and he pulled away a little and I took a chunk out so we had to make it all one length. I didn’t realize until after cutting his hair but the size of the blades are on the inside and you just have to really look.Overall I’m really happy with this purchase and worth the price !!

It's about 5.25" end to end, and about 1.625" wide. The shears are about as loud as any other shaver, so don't buy these thinking they're quiet enough to not wake up a baby.The product page indicates they can be washed... I think that's largely true, but the shaft underneath head doesn't seem like it's sealed, so I wouldn't go too crazy with it. The power cable input was probably chosen to make it easier to waterproof, but it's silly to make it USB with a proprietary input.My main issue with these are the blades. They seem to be using plastic blades with the excuse that it's soft and won't hurt the baby, but this is silly. You want the blades to be sharp and effective at cutting... because if they don't cut, then they'll pull and rip instead, which hurts. These work out of the box just fine, but I don't think they'll hold up... especially if your baby has thick hair, which will wear down the plastic quickly.I think these are overpriced at $20 for the quality. They aren't quiet and use plastic blades... but they are easy to clean.

I wanted something that both my puppy and I would feel safe while using. This trimmer is small, so it's easy to handle. And it's super easy to use. I highly recommend it.
