Beach camping!
We used this to camp on the beach including in winds up to 15 mph. It's perfect!! One day a thunderstorm came up and so we got to test the waterproofness of it. No leaking and we made s'mores in the rain!I strongly recommend that you buy a bunch of sandbags if you're going to camp in high winds, we place two sandbags on each of 4 sides of the tent. For beach camping, I recommend spiral dog tie-out stakes. Use those in each of 8 corners of the tent in lieu of the included stakes, as well as on the 4 corner ties. These measures will keep your canopy from flying away as you sleep.Otherwise, the rounded edges cause your canopy to bounce and flex in the wind. Great aerodynamics, resilient. Unlike those so-called "easy-up" canopies, which are anything but.Now. The reason for 4 stars. The side panels do not attach very securely, and you can only get two of them. If one or both blow away in the wind, you cannot order replacements. My opinion is that these should have attached with long strips of velcro. So, to that end, I'm going to recommend another product which, so far, I have successfully used to attach the side panels. Scotch extremely strong [velcro] fasteners. I used the 10-foot strips to secure the side panels around the top. Temperatures got up around 90⁰ F during the day, and we experienced a rainstorm. The Scotch adhesive is strong and it held, quite well, in spite of these conditions. As we are car campers, our hatchback goes in one of the 4 canopy openings, with our bed in the back. Then the two included panels on each side. Then at nighttime, I attach a large piece of clear vinyl across the 4th opening, giving us something of a large window but also protecting us from nightly sandstorms. The Scotch velcro has also served to attach the clear vinyl. The Scotch has made up for what was missing from this canopy.

Awesome, quality product. Easy setup. 10/10.
I was a little nervous ordering this as there were no reviews, but I'm really glad I did! This tent-style sun shelter is a little outdoor room for us to enjoy the weather and outdoors despite the fact our backyard gets full sun for most of the day. It also allows us the privacy we were looking for. It was very quick and easy to setup, and I believe a taller person than myself (I'm 5'2") could have set this up on their own without assistance. I can't speak for it's durability since we just put it up yesterday, but the materials all seem to be well made and of quality, so I'm not worried. I definitely would recommend this product! 🙌🏼

12x12 Well Designed Weather Protection
Purchased this shelter for camping in AZ and NM, monsoon country. With extra strong poles, stakes, guylines and two movable "wall" sheets, it has performed well in sun, wind and rain. Initial problem with weak shock cord in poles was resolved immediately by *excellent* customer service. Recommend carrying roll of 1/8" bungee replacement shock cord just in case. Shelter has been well worth the cost to stay dry.Takes two to set up.

Way better than a pop up
We bought this to use to replace the seemingly endless string of pop ups we have destroyed over the years. We use them when car camping or cabin camping and it seems the rain and wind destroy pop ups quickly no matter the brand or cost. This sets up like a pack tent, It took 15 or 20 minutes to figure out the fist time, then 10 minutes with 2 people after that. (The key is put the roof poles in and set them, then put in all the leg poles, then set them once they are all threaded. Always push to poles never pull them. Set it up in a wide open area, the poles are very long, then move it and stake it.) I took about 10 minutes to take down and did fit in back the bag. We used it in rain and the design lets it shed water easily, it had little gutters over the openings which direct the run off down the legs. It handled some gusty thunderstorm winds which might have wrecked a pop up, it held firm and strong we had no concerns. We did have it staked down well, it has 2 stakes at the base of each leg and another with a string higher on the legs; on a calm day this might not be needed, but only takes a few moments. It can easily cover a picnic table and some chairs, we even put a small tent under it to give us double protection from the wind and rain. The side walls come off and on very easily and can be moved as the sun and wind move. One person can tote it easily. The poles and fabric seem fairly durable for the weight. I will update this if we have any trouble, bought fall 2020. Oh, and Amazon asked if it was warm, of course not, it is open sided and designed to stay cool, it does block the wind well.

Works perfect. Bear to put up
Set this up in the yard to test it out and practice setup/take down. I cant reccomend this step enough. If our first time setting it up had been at our camp site it would have been extremely difficult in the limited space I had. As it is, Once its up the piece is SOLID, sun, rain, nothing is getting thru. I did notice the seam tape stops before going down the legs, which is fine for keeping you dry, but beware keeping anything that could be damaged im the pockets. Luckily we encountered little to nonrain while camping, but had a few major downpours while it was set up in the yard for the test run, and it shed water very nicely. The removable walls were perfect for dealing with morning VS setting sun positions. We even used on of the walls as a movie screen for an outdoor movie on our last night and it worked really well.
