Like it so much, ordering another
The media could not be loaded. Not Prime eligible, it arrived slowly via USPS, well packaged, no problems. Also arrived very sharp. I have had this item since August 2012.I wanted two cleavers for chopping veggies. One big and heavy (No.4 Cleaver sold by the WokShop), one smaller and lighter (the Rada). I used one as a fence (No.4) and the other to chop/scoop (Rada). Food processors are too much trouble and give unreliable results. I prefer to do all my prep work by hand.I am very impressed with this cleaver. Super sharp, well built, chops well. Of the several all metal cleavers I own, the Rada is the lightest and smallest. I use it all the time to perform multiple tasks and consider this my main knife. If I could make one change to the cleaver that would be to change the front edge to more of a point. It is rounded and I just prefer a point that sticks out. When I am cooking in my stainless skillets, I often use the Rada as my spatula/scraper. It cuts, notches and lifts pastry super well, just make sure it is air dried, room temp and floured. Prepping parsley goes much faster/easier. Chopping potatoes and carrots take minimal effort and this thing makes chopping/slicing onions almost fun. I can make tabouli in half the time now.Until six months ago, I had my knives professionally sharpened but now I use the Presto 08800 sold here on Amazon. It keeps my Rada very sharp. Clean this knife promptly, allow to dry and oil occasionally.I use the Rada so much, I am ordering an additional cleaver and I am looking to purchase some other items from their line. This is a great chopper/scraper/spatula/pastry utensil for a very low price. If you enlarge the screen, you can see the video much better. Click the X in the lower right corner.

Laughing all the way
I received this "dicer" and unwrapped it and laughed for about 10 minutes. As it sat on my coffee table the rest of the evening I continued to laugh. It has a dinky little handle and a dinky little cutting surface. Well, the joke is on me. I was going to banish it to the room of misfit kitchen gadgets before I even used it, but I thought I would try it anyway. It did cut a piece of paper, so I thought I would try it on some Mexican green onions. To my surprise, it cut right through. It seems to work best if I did and up and down motion with no slicing action. The handle is tiny. I am a male who wears large gloves which are too tight, or extra large gloves which are a little large. I choked up on the handle to pinch the blade and it did a great job on my Mexican green onions. To be honest, I usually use an 8.5 inch paper plate as a "flexible" cutting board and this miniature cleaver fits within the boundaries of the paper plate very well. I pull out the cutting board for larger jobs, but the paper plate suffices most of the time. That said, I wouldn't use my more expensive knives on a paper plate ever. I also cut up a regular yellow onion and it worked very well. This is made in America which swayed my purchase and I am glad I bought it. The handle is kind of small, but it has great value in relation to the price. I plan on buying another one.

FANTASTIC KNIFE FOR THE MONEY
I currently own a $3k+ set of Wusthof Classi Ikon knives and I love them dearly. Honestly, the Wusthof product is the best on the market today in my opinion. While stumbling on Amazon looking for an inexpensive bread knife for my girlfriend's mother (Christmas present), I found the Rada Cutlery product. Being the skeptical person that I am, I couldn't possibly believe that a $10 bread knife could perform anywhere near as well as my $120 Wusthof bread knife. Not caring much about the quality of the knife for my future mother-in-law, I bought it from Amazon without even thinking twice DUE TO THE VERY VERY LOW PRICE. While my Wusthof is a far better quality knife in fit and finish, it cuts marginally better than the Rada $10 knife. After experiencing the Rada bread knife, I had to get a Rada knife for myselfand my excuse was for "everday use". I purchased the dicer (Model: R129) and am truly amazed at how well it performs. The blade is far thinner than I ever thought, but it seems to be very strong and is definitely very sharp. It overall doesn't have the fit and finish of the Wusthof (especially in the handle), but it is a fanastic knife that I enjoy using for virtually anything. It even cuts ripe tomatoes well without any crushing.I plan on purchasing more Rada Cutlery products in the future. Can't go wrong for the price. If you're on a budget or simply looking for a decent knife for the money, forget all others and JUST GO FOR THE RADA!!!

Made in USA, great value
These knives come sharp, are a great value and made in the USA. Clean them by hand when finished using to keep them looking their best, and definitely give them a rinse if you’re going to set them aside after chopping. The acids in food can cause some discoloration to the blade, which is purely aesthetic, but I think these knives look beautiful and should be kept that way if possible. As a dicer, I find this blade to be pretty effective in blade length, there are some ingredients that are a bit big for it, like a large Vidalia onion, but it can still handle it no problem.

It's a Rada!
I love Rada products. So when I found some chef style knives I had to get them. It is a great knive and cuts like you would expect from Rada. The only downfall is the blade is stamped out of the same sheet blanks as the rest of the knives. So even if you have a parring knife or a chef knife they're all going to be the same very thin blade. Which work great for a parring knife but makes one a little uneasy with a larger knife chopping and dicing. But with that said. They do work well and I do enjoy them. But in the future I will probably buy a better thicker blade with a more comfortable handle for tackling the jobs required of chefs sytle knives.

value for money
Of course it is not as great looking as the one without plastic, but for the price, it's a incredible value for money. It's a delight to use. I hope that overtime it will remain like this.
