Great for taking notes, but use a screen protector!
Before buying this stylus, I tried using the Wacom Bamboo stylus (which was too imprecise to allow real note taking.) This stylus allowed me to take notes quickly and easily. Obviously, writing on a screen is not as accurate as writing with pen and paper, as such your handwriting does take a beating. Still, writing with this stylus feels natural and the lines are accurate enough that I was happy with the notes. Plus, the tip allows a fine enough line that you are actually taking notes as opposed to writing with a marker (which is what the Bamboo felt like). Also, The body screws apart and then screws back together, so when you are taking notes the plastic disk is exposed, but when you are not using it, the plastic desk is screwed into the handle (hidden and protecting). The pen is light, but the rubber grip feels good. In short, if you plan on taking notes, this is the stylus for you. It is accurate, comes with two extra tips, and is cheaper than the Jot Pro. It does everything I want and does it at a reasonable price. With all that said, I gave it four stars for two reasons. The first is that it will scratch your screen, which means you need to use it with a screen protector. The scratches are small almost micro-scratches, and they don't appear every time you write with it, but eventually they start to appear. I don't know if dust gets caught under the clear disk, or what. All I know is that I was so grateful I had a screen protector on, because I would have been really angry if my actual iPad screen had gotten scratched. This same complaint is echoed when you look at reviews for the Jot Pro. It seems that these small scratches are a part of this type of stylus. So, use a screen protector and you don't have to worry about it. You can only see the scratches if you look at the screen from an angle, so you won't be forced to constantly change the protector. But, if you do ever want to sell the iPad, you peel the screen protector off, and you're left with a brand new screen free of scratches. The other reason I am taking a star off is because of the palm problem. It is not really the fault of the pen itself, but I think they should explain that if you lay your palm on the screen when you write, apps recognize this contact as "writing" and create dots or lines on the notebook page you working on. Some apps cut down on this problem, but even in the best apps, I ended up with a bunch of dots on the area of the "page" that I was in contact with. There are two ways of handling this. The first is to write with care, and hold the stylus so that the bottom of your hand doesn't touch the screen. This feels unnatural to me, and breaks up my writing flow. So, I just deal with the stupid dots. They are just dots (or sometimes small lines) and I can still read what I wrote. Its just notes, so I just try to ignore them and if they get really bad I use an eraser to erase them. Yes, it is a pain, but I am willing to put up with these two problems in order to take notes on my iPad and then pin them to services like Evernote. In total, I am very happy with this stylus. Yes, there are a few things that could be made better, but it does its job, and as long you know what you are getting into (and take the proper precautions) you will be very pleased to!

Best choice I have found so far for art on a typical android tablet (i.e., not pressure sensitive)
Where this product shines is for doing artwork on a typical tablet that does not have pressure sensitivity. Naturally, you will not get the level of control, etc. as with pressure sensitive devices (for which you should buy a pressure sensitive stylus), but this stylus is the closest I have seen yet. Plastic tip is soft and I've had no issues with scratching (although I am using a screen protector) and it works well with Autodesk Sketchbook. I am finally able to get a fine enough line to get a decent level of detail in sketches - and this is on a Nook HD+, which is known for not having the best accuracy when used with a stylus, which makes the Musemee Notier Prime very impressive indeed. The other key plus is that the replacement tips for this device are actually reasonably priced AND three tips are included with this purchase (something no other styli of this high quality can boast) and the tips seem to be designed fairly well - I have had zero issues and am still on my first one, although I have been careful not to drop this - wish the pen barrel had a hole at the end to attach to a cord, but that's my only gripe. The pen is comfortable to hold thanks to the rubber grip - there is a protective cap over the tip which screws off and is screwed on the other end when the stylus is in use to become part of the handle. When assembled for use this stylus is precisely 6" long (including the tip) - this is shorter than my Nook Versa stylus but longer than most styli and I find it very comfortable for drawing. If you just want a stylus for writing, I am not sure that you need to buy this product or any of the other expensive, fancier styli on the market unless you have a high-end tablet, as in my experience they do not write any better or clearer on typical tablets than the considerably less expensive ball end styli - for example, this Musemee Notier Prime is no better for writing on my Nook HD+ (or my friend's Galaxy Tab) than my Nook Versa stylus - although my Nook Versa stylus is pretty good which means the Musemee is also pretty good - but I only paid around $8 (on sale) for the Nook Versa. So my suggestion for writing is to get a styli that is compatible with your tablet and long enough to be comfortable, does not have a metal collar or similar on the ball end (which can scratch your screen when the ball squashes when you write) and has good reviews. Then try the various handwriting apps on the market until you find one that suits. I am using Stylus Beta on a Nook HD+ with the Nook Vera stylus and it works very well (mostly because Stylus Beta can be selected as an alternate to the keyboard in any app and appears as a line for input at the bottom of the screen, so you don't have to worry about palm checking - I do have to write large, but I find that is the case with every stylus and app I've tried on my Nook HD+, including this Musemee Notier Prime.)

Great stylus for many uses.
I love the stylist because it’s correctly weighted for use as a pen or pencil. I use it in my drawing programs. It’s very accurate and the pinpoint against the clear disc helps accuracy so you can see exactly where you are drawing or writing.

その下に Prime(Black)と印字されたシールが。
