Integrity. Natural ingredients. Wholesome, fragrant, flavorful. Competitive pricing. That’s what comes to mind for most who are familiar with J.R. Watkins. This wonderfully aromatic lemon soap that leaves hands clean and soft is just one of their many quality products. (As another reviewer said, their vanilla is also incredible, hands down our favorite.) There are two adults in our home, one works full time away from home, the other at home. We have a small dog, do our own landscaping, cook from scratch and spend a lot of time in our workshop on DIY projects, so we wash our hands constantly. We keep a dispenser next to six sinks - 3 bathrooms, kitchen, shop and the basement snack/coffee bar, and use about 4 gallons of liquid soap a year. Out-of-town guests a few times a year and those who come for an evening use some of it. That’s why it’s so important to have soap that doesn’t turn our hands into sandpaper. Anyone who uses it in our home loves the scent and the way it makes their hands feel. Without hesitation this soap gets my highest recommendation. I've been using this lemon hand soap for several years and buy the refills to save money. In our house, we use the gel and the foaming hand soap (both in the lemon scent). We love them both. I used to buy the refills at Target, but they don't seem to carry this brand any longer. It's a shame, I love the JR Watkins hand soaps (the hand cream is good too, especially the coconut scent). As I purchase a lot from Amazon, I checked the price and it was even better than what I paid for at Target. Now with the Amazon subscription, it's even cheaper and we won't ever run out. I'll look into putting the foaming hand soap on subscription too.

This is a wonderful hand soap that is moisturizing and has a wonderful smell. I love the lightweight packaging!

This soap is great! It lathers well and isn't drying. However, the scent I got is extremely strong. If you get migraines triggered by scents I'd probably avoid this particular scent. It's heavy on the musk. I eventually got used to the smell and no longer notice it, but will be repurchasing in a different scent next time.

Very nice scent, not overpowering and I like the way it lathers. This is my first time with lemon but I also really liked previous order of lavender scent refill. It’s easy to refill the dispenser because it has a good spout.
