This camera is amazing! it really is a vast improvement from the built in Acer laptop cam i'd been using, in both sound and vision. At the time i bought it, it was reduced to £24.00 which is a joke to be honest. If I had paid 3 times that price I would still have been over the moon. Quality aside for a moment, it's also so easy to use! Just plug it into a spare usb port and thats it! The only little thing I could mention, is the little bracket that helps it sit onto the laptop screen is not very secure, it's more like balancing than securely gripping, and the threaded hole where you would attach it to a tripod, seems a little shallow? It might be my tripod screw is just too long? I don't know, but it does do up, just not tightly? Other than that I honestly can't say a bad word about it. One other thing though, I am not very good with computers and at first my lap top was still using the built in mic, but then it seemed to sort itself out without me doing anything and started using the webcam mic? Anyway, all in all, I would definitely buy this again if I needed another high quality camera, so very highly recommended! +++++

The Webcam is really good and helpful however it doesn't help the fact that i have to keep unplugging and replugging the webcam whenever I stream with it. I have tried every USB slot on my PC and it still crashes would not recommend. EDIT: Had an email from someone saying they would refund me if i took down my review. ended saying it would be £10. not accepting bribery...

Video quality is pretty good and audio seems to work well too. The camera is small and neat and the clamp holds it on top of the monitor well, there is also a small tripod included. Installation was easy, just plug it in and restart any apps wanting to use it.The only downside I have is that the camera is a wide angle lense (which is a nice option), but there is no way to crop the video feed so it just focuses on you. Some apps will do this automatically, but on others people get a full wide-angle view of my lounge and me looking a bit lost in the middle!

On opening the small packet was surprised to see how dinky it was. Thought what do I do now.? Find the instructions but the one I found was in German. That took me aback as the illustrations were very small andI do not speak German. Staggered to bed and thought Google Translate of course so spent 3 hours next morning carefully looking at each long word and noting how the verb came at the end. Very enlightening and started to set up the webcam using a magnifying glass to make sure I was looking at the right thing on the illustrations. Had kept the box and noted there was a plastic thing at the bottom, pulled it out and believe it or not, (I felt quite silly for the time I'd wasted and i have wasted quite a lot in my 82 years), there was the English version. By the way it worked perfectly on Zoom and made me very happy seeing my dance group. 10/10

I liked the simplicity of this webcam. It is super easy to install so if you are looking for one for someone who is uncomfortable with technology then this is the one to choose. It is just plug and play using a usb that is firmly attached to the camera so you never lose the cable.The "clip" to attach it to the laptop is not actually a clip rather a hinged base that balances on the top of the laptop screen so it might be better to rest it on something firm in a similar position but it has held steady while I'm writing this so I think it will do.There is a place to attach a tripod which I might do at a later date.It came with a lens cover which some might find useful to close the camera off physically if they don't know how to switch it off in the computer or Skype/Zoom/Teams settings. Again, this is a useful feature for those who don't feel comfortable with tech and prefer the physical lens cover. I attached it more to keep the lens clean than for privacy.All in all a useful piece of kit which I bought to replace my dodgy built in laptop camera.
