Used these two units for turning on and off lights. They were left at two permanent locations and were used almost daily. After about 6 weeks the first units blue button LED started flashing on and off and than started turn the lights on and off. I unplugged it, to see if it would automatically reset and go back to normal operation. It continued to do the same thing when plugged back in. I tried to go through the original setup program several times now and the unit refuses to acknowledge the program, and Alexa can no long enable the commands. Now the second unit has failed the same way, within a week of the first units failure. I have reset my WIFI several times, to make sure that it's not my router's fault, and everything else is working fine. I have researched the web only to find I am not the only one that is having this same problem. It is past the date that they can be returned to Amazon, so I guess all I can say is that, "It is money not well spent".

System can be finicky during setup. It didn't want to use my private network but was happy connecting to the guest network. Make sure it's 2.4GhZ, otherwise it won't connect. Once I connected, everything else was a breeze and I like having Alexa turn things on and off. I also have them programmed to turn things on/off on a schedule.

Bought a pair of these little critters as a test. Turns out they were easy to set up, got them linked to my Echo Dot (Alexa) and they work like a dream. In fact, bought two more! Now I can make our place looked lived-in when we're vacationing. Best part though, is telling Alexa to turn on XXX light!

Easy to set up, took about 5 minutes. Works very well with Echo and allows for controlling outlets by voice or with a phone from anywhere in the world. I bought them on Prime Day so it was $34 for 2 outlets. I don't think I would pay any more than that for this item, and I'm sure that in time they will end up costing less and less as usually happens with technology. I don't have anything else to compare them with, so my advice would be to buy these if you can't find a lower cost item as they do work, but I will buy a different brand if there is a significantly lower cost.

Finally followed installation video and got them to pair with my echo. Haven't used them yet but they should work.

I got a package of 2 after my router I could not get one to work at all and the second one wontbwork with Alex anymore .

I love it! Took me a min to set it up. But once set up worked as expected. I can control it from my android note 8 with no issues.

I love my TWBsmart plugs! I order one a couple of months ago and just received two more the other day. They are very easy to set up and I can work them individually and as a group. I would certainly order them again.
