(a) The current item description (top line on page) says DPDT, but it is actually SPST (see the wiring diagram in one of the pictures)(b) This item is not specifically designed for the US and does not know about daylight saving time. You will have to adjust the time twice a year.(c) The Amazon listing says the battery will retain settings for 60 days in a power failure. But on the back of the device it says "Power reserve: 3 years (lithium battery)". I don't know how to interpret that, but I am guessing that even WITH external power, the battery life is 3 years, and after that the settings will not be retained in a power failure.I posted a question on Amazon asking about this. The seller's answer did not address my question (you can find it in the questions). Presumably we will have to throw the whole thing away and buy a new one?There are a number of these devices for sale on Amazon (various made-up brand names) with the same front panel but different specs (e.g. 24vdc, 12vdc, 110vac, "solar battery", etc.) This one seemed best because it will work with any supply voltage from 12vdc to 24vdc. But I wish I understood the 3 years thing.

Don't work

Came in not working but thanks to me being an ET I was able to make some repairs. If it wasn’t so cheap I would have sent it back. Whoever put this unit together had no idea how to solder
