Nice little earbud
This is a nice little earbud, I was anxious to try this since when I'm at work, I usually use wired earbuds but I only put one ear in & the other is left dangling (so I can hear people walking up behind me, or if someone in my general area says something to me, etc). With my wired earbuds, sometimes they get caught in the crack in my desk & get yanked out of my ear - not fun! Since this is just a single earbud it works nicely, one ear is free & there are no cords to get tangled. It fits well in my ear & is comfortable to wear for hours. Sound is pretty good (I usually listen to streaming radio, so I'm not concerned with high quality sound, it's good for what I use it for). I think the sound is just a little tinny but overall pretty good. The magnetic mount charger is really cool, which provides fairly idiot-proof placement.CONTROLS: It was a little confusing to initially pair the earbud with my Android Pixel XL, it really wasn’t clear (see first Con, below) if I was supposed to have the earbud powered on or if it should be off? At first I had the earbud on, but once I turned the earbud off & pressed the button, I was able to pair easily, & set as a trusted device. The manual indicates you may need to input a code to pair, but that wasn't necessary to connect to my phone. There's only one button on the earbud, it turns power on & off, pauses whatever you're listening to, or answers/hangs up phone calls. When you press & hold the button in, it powers up the earbud - you'll hear a female voice say "Power on", then she announces "device connected" after you turn on Bluetooth & connect to your phone. When you press & hold the button to turn the earbud off, you'll hear "Power off". I purposely ran it down to see how long the battery would last, I got a solid 5 hours of listening before she announced "battery low" every 30 seconds or so. Charging only takes about an hour plugged into my wall charger. I don't really intend to use this for phone calls, but I tested the functionality just to make sure it works, & it does - when receiving a call you just press the button to answer. The person on the other end said I sounded very echo-y, although I could hear them great. Push the button again to hang up the call, & push it twice to redial the last number.CONS:-The manual is awful - the print is incredibly tiny & the translation to English isn't the best. On one page the instructions just stop without finishing the sentence. It would be great if they'd increase the page size &/or number of pages, so the font size can be increased to 6pt & people can more easily read the instructions.-The earbud itself has no volume controls, you have to use your phone to control the volume (which isn't always convenient)-I wish that when you initially power on the earbud, she would give some idea of battery level, since there's no way to know until it either doesn't work at all or you get the "battery low" warning. I have a really old Plantronics earpiece that says "battery high" / "battery medium" / "battery low" when turned on, something like this would be a really nice addition.

after you master the pairing process, they are pretty nifty
I LOVE wireless earbuds; I use them all the time, mainly for music, and other sounds like videos, tv shows on my devices when the hubby is sleeping, and the occasional game. So, I always try to have one around. The price was right for the Soulsoundmagic Bluetooth Earbud so I decided to try them. Overall, very pleased but I will break it down a little.CONS: I had the hardest time trying to pair it. Usually I don't even need instructions but I was stumped, so turned to the included little tiny piece of paper with some instructions printed on it. Larger font and more clear instructions would be nice. The instructions say to "keep pressing" the on button when the earbuds power on. I took that to mean pressing the button over and over again. No...HOLD the button down after it powers on. Then the lights will flash and you can pair with your devices. Note: when I paired my new Amazon Fire, when I kept it held down, it would then power off after a few seconds, so I ended up just powering it on and leaving it alone, and it paired just fine. If you have trouble, may have to try both ways. I saw the 1-star review where the earbud wouldn't work at all. If that had happened to me, I'd be contacting the company for a new one first, then leave a review. Give them a chance to make it right.WHAT I LIKE: Nice little zip close clam-shell case. Fits easily in your purse, backpack, briefcase, or whatever you carry your stuff in. Comes with 3 tips, small, medium, and large, and a nifty little USB charger where the bud attaches magnetically, like a spaceship docking to the mother-ship. They fit comfortably, and the sound isn't bad at all. The charge lasts a long time. I left them on overnight and I was still able to use in the morning. They pair up with everything. They paired with my laptop, android phone, my Kindle Fire 7th Gen, and an older ipod touch. Hopefully they will hold up to a lot of use and that I don't lose them. I lost my last earbud, never to be found. Will try to always keep in the case when not in use. The long lasting charge made up for the pairing pain and brought it back up to 5-Stars. I use them every single day, and no issues yet. Have not used with phone calls yet. I don't use my phone for calls very much.

Best crap product on Amazon
Sound quality is crap. Might as well fork out $50 for better sound quality, two buds and will last at least 2 years. And the nerve of them to charge $6.07 for return wtf? Rather than USPS they go with UPS to discourage returns for their crap product.

Fit my needs perfectly!
I didn't need a set of head phones. My dear boyfriend needs to be up an out the door before 5am. I do not. I like to watch movies on phone to wind down. Since I'm often doing this while laying down I was finding I'd only wear one headphone - the other ear was in the pillow. Then the issue was the cord (even on other blue tooth sets there is a cord between headphones. This has NONE of that.It is absolutely the perfect solution for me. The sound quality is excellent. I have no problem hearing what I am listening to, and he can't hear it! It fits perfectly without any discomfort. The battery life is impressive and the magnetic charging is a cool feature. I would totally buy these again - and I haven't even tried making a call. The power up/down voice makes me giggle. All around it's a great buy!
