100% works! Easy install
You get the plate, x2 screws for plate and a Cat6 connector. Connector snaps in firm, plate was not flimsy at all. Cat6 ethernet cord from plate connector is running full speed. Easy install, ran a 50ft Cat6 from router to the plate, installed the box behind it securely to a wall stud, plenty of room for the Cat6 to the plate in the box with no kinking, after securing the plate snug ran a 12ft Cat6 to the preferred device. Checked all routing speeds and BINGO! Full speed and it sure beats wireless. Only took 1 hour to do all of it plus clean up (plan ahead, get your tools ready and maybe watch a tutorial online if unsure). Great plate without any splicing!

Simple to Install, Good Quality, Priced Fair!
I needed a single one-port Ethernet Wall Plate that I could install behind my Wireless Router to convert my Fiber Internet Connection that runs directly into the house from outside. I used it to run a short Ethernet Cable from my Fiber to Ethernet POE Adapter behind the wall, to hide the POE Adapter and create a simple Ethernet connection from the wall to my Wireless Router. It worked perfectly! It was simple to install, had the design on the back of the wall plate that I needed, and priced very fair. There was nothing special about this wall plate compared to similar products, as there rarely is anything unique with a simple, straightforward product like this. But, it did the job - I got what I paid for!

Great pass through Ethernet wall plate
This is the simplest and most effective way to tastefully pass an ethernet cable through a wall. I removed an old phone port in a wall that wasn't finished on the other side and replaced its cover with one of these. This allowed me to pass a hard wired ethernet connection down into my basement.

Product Works Fine
This product works just fine. I'm giving it a four though, only because it does feel just a little cheap. And in a couple of the units, when I snapped the wire/port connector part into the plate, it was a bit of a struggle to get it to seat just right. Once it's all in, it's fine. It's just a wall plate after all. As for the connection, I'm using simple patch cables to go from a switch to the wall plates, then out to another switch that leads to various home entertainment devices. The first thing I did on connection was hook a single checker in to test. (Which went fine.) Then a ethernet wired laptop just to check something for real data. Then I hooked up to the intended Television, video game console, etc. All works fine so no apparent issues with the actual connector piece.

Work great easy to install!
My house uses Cat5e cable for the telephone lines so I replugged the ports back to ethernet and used these wall plates to finish my project. They work great and allow me to back haul my mesh network over ethernet for a stable connection.

Easy to install
They installed easily and look a lot better than the holes I had in my walls. My Internet functions exactly as before. Great price on a great item!

Works great! Pay attention to orientation
I almost wrote a bad review as the clipping in the RJ45 jack seemed wrong, but just flipped the plate around and it fits perfectly. I assume some of the other negative reviews probably had the same problem. Works just fine.

Clean Solution for Cables
Due to how my apartment is set up the cable drop for the modem is in the living room. So my main Ubiquiti Router had to go there as well. I used this to go from a nearby blanked panel (it was meant to be) to a part of the closet in the master bedroom. Installed easy, they are fairly cheap screws but just be gentle, paint it if needed, or use the rubber band trick so that your screwdriver never touches the screw and you'll be fine.In the terms of speed, I saw a drop of about 500KB/s on my 110M down line. This was measured not with just a speed test, but also transferring and downloading large files from a remote Amazon Web Services server. So it is a drop but not absurb when using Cat6 Cables on both ends. Look up what a Cat6 cable looks like online, it has staggered pins. Don't cheap out on cables, especially if your cable in the wall has to go by power lines, and make they fit snugly, not bent and you'll be fine.
