These steel combs have truly made a huge difference in my daily life. I don't mean to sound dramatic but if you have fine hair and/or live in a dry climate and suffer from static electricity in your hair you KNOW what a nightmare that can be. At first I thought I didn't really need so many combs but now I think I might have to order a second pack because I need them in every room of the house and in my purse. lol. I am no longer afraid to wear a hat - after taking the hat off, just run the comb through the hair and I'm back to "normal". Especially awesome after using a hot iron tool on the hair.I saw that one reviewer was dissatisfied with how thin the combs are. I find them perfectly acceptable. They are a bit thin but not so much that I am worried about them although I would not recommend putting one in the back pocket and sitting on it. If they were thicker they might get heavy. The tines are a wee bit sharp-ish, but not bad enough to be a problem for me. I have had plastic combs which were much sharper and scratched the scalp. The tines are also nicely close together in some of the combs so if you have fine hair and need to tease it they do an excellent job.I really think these are great for fine hair or dry climates. Do they remove static 100%? No. But probably about 95%. I find that using them removes the static but then if I reach up with my hands and touch my hair the static can easily return. Wearing natural fabrics (especially cotton) helps a lot. Avoid poly-blend clothing! Also, any time you color your hair you are basically coating it with vinyl so this can add a lot of static. I have fine hair that is highlighted so these combs are a life-saver.

The combs came in their individual leather-like pouches. There are no sharp edges. They are rigid with very slight flexing. The widest comb will suffice as a fade comb, but the bottom ridge is thinner than a standard wahl flat top comb or any other fade comb. For 20 some dollars, i think it was a decent buy. Can you get better ones individually? Absolutely. I took a risk and i am happy with the purchase. I would recommend if you need a comb set. I hope they will not rust. Yet to be determined. First impressions are a 5 star. I will try to follow up later for more feedback

These are very nice, Sturdy & thick. NOT flimsy. I wish the tines had been a bit more smooth, rounded or should I say polished. However, I believe with repeated use, eventually they will become smoother. EACH comes in a leather case.Now I have a comb(s) that's mine, no mistake, no look alike, or confusion. One glance - that's MINE! LOL 😆

We use these combs everday. Indestructible! Will not melt under heavy heat. Will not delaminate in a chem bath. Perfect for getting an even line with clippers while trimmimg beards, or clipping a fade/flat top.They do pull a bit on your hair though, thus the 4 star rating. I am going to soften the edges of the teeth with some light abrasive cloth, to reduce the pull.

It seems that these combs have not been finished before they shipped . The manufactures seem to have deburred the handle and outer edges but not those between edges of bridles. Resulting edges are very sharp and cut and break hair with ease. Ergonomics also leave more to be desired, while thickness of material is adequate for the bristles it is too thin in handles providing for rather uncomfortable grip.I would discourage others from buying from this supplier.

These are the worse combs that I have ever owned. The tines are so rough that they will pull & break your hair repeatedly. If you value your hair do not purchase this set.

Edges of combs are sharp from machining I guess. Comb points are sharp squares instead of smooth and rounded.

I’ve been using them for a few days and I love them! My hair is nowhere near as static as before. One of the combs teeth were slightly sharper than the others but it didn’t hurt to use it.
